Then again, not all characters are made equally. Players can probably guess by now which characters are fan favorites: those who have the best storylines and the most involvement in the narrative. So for players who pull wishes for characters based on how interesting they are as individuals, these ten deserve the most Primogems.
10 Jean, Hardworking & Compassionate
As acting Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, the world rests on Jean’s shoulders. Her character reflects her sense of responsibility and her energetic adherence to her duties. This makes her one of the most effective yet benevolent authorities in Mondstadt.
Despite being a stereotypical workaholic, Jean is one of the most memorable characters in Mondstadt thanks to her general helpfulness to the place. She leaves no stone unturned, and no task is too small for her. It goes to show how she puts her loyalty to good use.
9 Razor, A Boy Learning To Be Human
Razor is a fan favorite among many free-to-play players. His prowess matches even some of the esteemed 5-stars in the game. The resident wolf-boy of Mondstadt, this wild child somehow still has a blunt charismatic pull despite being instinctive.

He’s raised by wolves, so naturally, he’s a bit anti-social towards humans. However, his integration into society as well as his inner conflict with his identity makes his character both tragic and endearing.
8 Diluc, A Stoic Front With A Kind Heart
Speaking of tragic, not many can match Teyvat’s king of brooding, Diluc. Diluc chose to be the Dark Knight of Mondstadt following a tragic youth. After losing his father, his only remaining parent, Diluc went from an optimistic and radiant young man into a stoic and sulky loner.
Now he prefers to work alone, and wears a tough exterior. Inside though, he’s an altruistic idealist who still wants to protect Mondstadt in any way he can. At the moment though, his methods are a little violent and twisted.
7 Fischl, Eloquent & Superior
The vocal yet most misunderstood character in Genshin Impact, Fischl is a cryptic princess who prefers to flex her vocabulary rather than get her point across. Stylistically, her dialogue is needlessly verbose and her temperament is posh.

It’s clear that her manners are a tier above most people of Mondstadt, though the same goes for her superiority complex. She’s not all that repulsive though, as she somehow has chemistry with people like Bennett.
6 Tartaglia, Unpredictably Complex
Tartaglia (or Childe) is a complex character both in his actions and his allegiances. That’s to be expected of a Fatui Harbinger, a notorious elite group of Vision users who answer to Snezhnaya. Tartaglia, however, doesn’t agree with the methods of his contemporaries in the Harbinger anti-social social club.
Instead, he puts on a deceptively friendly facade probably in order to hide what he’s capable of. More than anything, he yearns to be the strongest in Teyvat and wouldn’t hesitate to duel Archons like Zhongli. Yet, he tends to go a bit mad with his methods, making him quite unpredictable.
5 Ningguang, The Self-Made Superpower
Who rules Liyue? That’s a complicated question, but most fingers will probably point to Ningguang, who currently holds the most power in Liyue. She’s also the richest in the land, especially now that Rex Lapis can’t create any more Mora.

What’s even more impressive is that Ningguang is but a mortal, not an Adeptus. She also managed to become independently wealthy and influential, meaning she’s a self-made tycoon. Her being more powerful than some 5-star characters despite being only a 4-star is just the cherry on top.
4 Bennett, Cheerful Despite Adversity
Bennett is everyone’s favorite boy in Genshin Impact, and he’s worth every wish and resin players spend on him. This jolly young fellow embodies the spirit of cooperation and adventure. His backstory is even more tragic than Diluc’s or Razor’s, yet he manages to keep a positive attitude.
Bennett lost all his teammates in an adventure, and many blame his bad luck. That’s why Bennett had to overcompensate and fill in all the roles for the party so that he can continue Benny’s Adventure Team, comprising only of himself.
3 Venti Embodies A Free-Spirited Nature
Out of all the characters in Genshin Impact, none represent freedom as much as Venti does. The strange part about this character is that he’s not even himself in his human form. Venti is but a mere wisp of what he was several thousands of years ago. He once had a friend called the Nameless Bard, who died in their rebellion against the former tyrannical Archon of Mondstadt.

Since then, the wisp assumed the form of the Nameless Bard after ascending into godhood as Barbatos. Now, he’s a drunk musician who comes and goes as he pleases, perfectly representing the Anemo or wind element.
2 Xiao, The Tortured Immortal
As sad as Bennett, Diluc, and Razor’s stories are, don’t hold a candle to Xiao’s. He’s the crowned edgelord of the game and he rightfully owns it. Being more than 2,000 years old, Xiao has seen too much of the world and lost too many of his friends to even care about the brief, mundane lives of mortals.
With his immortality, he carries a heavy burden due to all the demons he has killed out of duty. Xiao practically sacrificed his sanity and psyche in order to provide safety for Liyue. In the process, he could have become a deranged demon himself, but he resisted and continues to be the coolest antihero in Teyvat.
1 Zhongli, A Quiet Soul With Huge Power
Finally, the Geo Archon himself. Zhongli/Rex Lapis/Morax is a world-weary deity who, after millennia of establishing Liyue as a world power, has become tired of his godly duties. Nowadays, he resigns himself to tea shops and precious rock stores, enjoying a quiet and peaceful existence.
Back in his day, however, he was a powerhouse who could take on several other gods like himself and create islands out of his earthen spears. Underneath that calm and collected look is the wisdom and power of ages, resting like a mountain, waiting to quake if need be.
