While the main nations keep ruling the world of Teyvat, developer miHoYo occasionally adds smaller regions like the popular Dragonspine mountains that arrived back in update 1.2. Recent Genshin Impact leaks have revealed that another smaller region will be added to the islands of Inazuma. The new region will be named Enkanomiya, and it was mentioned numerous times in the game’s official story.

Update 2.3 has not even arrived yet and players are already hyped about the most recent Genshin Impact 2.4 beta leaks. One of the most credible Genshin Impact leakers by the name Genshin Intel has tweeted a content overview list for update 2.4. Even though there is a lot of expectations and hype surrounding Shenhe and Yun Jin, the addition of a brand new region by the name Enkanomiya surely stole the show. The new region Enkanomiya has been leaked a couple of days ago but the recent beta leaks pretty much confirm that these rumors are true.
As mentioned before, the new update will bring two fan-favorite characters, Yun Jin and Shenhe. Both of these characters are tied heavily to Liyue which means that they will most likely not be a part of the same banner cycle that will introduce the new region. This could also mean that Yun Jin and Shenhe will arrive at on the same banner which is great news for players that want to add both of them to their roster. According to the lore, Yun Jin is a prestigious dancer, singer, and brewer who works at the popular Heyu Tea House. When it comes to her rarity there is no official information but recent rumors hint that Yun Jin could be a four-star character.
There still isn’t any new information on what the second banner might bring. It will most likely include another double banner re-run just like it was the case with update 2.3. Previous leaks have been hinting that the 2.4 double banner re-run will bring two popular DPS characters, Xiao and Ganyu. According to miHoYo’s usual update schedule, Genshin Impact update 2.4 should arrive around January 5, 2022.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
