Each new character receives her own dungeon upon release. The dungeon gives the players a unique opportunity to try that character without pulling for them. Recent Genshin Impact leaks have revealed that an upcoming Cryo character will get her own dungeon which confirms that she will have a five-star rarity.

Every new update has its beta phase which starts once the preceding patch arrives. For example, the 2.4 beta will start once Genshin Impact update 2.3 officially joins the live server. Over the past couple of patches, miHoYo has introduced an interesting pattern by revealing new characters before the beta even arrives, most likely because the characters would be leaked on day one of the betas anyway.
Shortly after miHoYo officially revealed Shenhe, one of the most popular Genshin Impact leakers named Lumie has revealed that Shenhe will receive her own dungeon in the game. Later on Lumie clarifies that the weather part of the name does not mean anything special since most regions have a weather configuration. The most important part is that she will get her own dungeon which is not uncommon with new Genshin Impact characters. When it comes to her rarity, there are no official information but this dungeon heavily hints that she will be a limited five-star banner character.
Previous leaks about her element have been confirmed by the official art and she will be a new Cryo character. Her weapon of choice will be the Polearm and according to multiple leaks, she’s expected to be one of the strongest DPS characters in Genshin Impact.
Shenhe will be joined by another interesting character, the long-awaited prestigious dancer, Yun Jin. Despite the speculation that she might be the first Dendro character, the official art that Yun Jin uses the Geo element which will make her the third new Geo character in two updates. She will most likely have great synergy with Albedo, Gorou and Itto which means that players could assemble a unique Geo party in just two updates.
There is no official information nor credible leaks if Shenhe and Yun Jin will be featured on the same banner. However, multiple previous leaks have been hinting that Ganyu and Xiao might get a banner re-run meaning that update 2.4 could have a similar pattern as its predecessor containing a double banner re-run for the one cycle and two new characters for the other.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
