Just like most Genshin Impact versions, the 2.7 update is set to bring its next phase after three weeks of release. In the second half, players will lose the chance to get Genshin Impact Yelan and Xiao when the Limited Banner changes to the next one. Arataki Itto’s banner will become available from June 21 through July 12. His banner will replace the Liyue characters, and with it, people can also expect different featured four-star units.

While Arataki Itto himself is not very hyped, one of the four-star characters who is going to be released with him surely is. This Electro Sword user, Kuki Shinobu, will have a rate-up along with two other characters: Gorou (Geo Bow) and Chongyun (Cryo Claymore).
Kuki Shinobu will be the first Electro healer in Genshin Impact, which explains the large hype around her release. During a recent live stream, Shinobu was shown sacrificing her HP to create an Electro ring around her, which will periodically heal the active character while dealing Electro damage to the surrounding opponents. Meanwhile, her Elemental Burst appeared to be a regular damage-dealing ability with no special effects.
Shinobu doesn’t really synergize with Itto in battle, but the two are closely related in lore, where she’s the deputy of Arataki Itto’s gang. Before joining Itto’s group, Kuki Shinobu used to work as a Shrine Maiden.
The second four-star character, Gorou, is the best support for Arataki Itto in Genshin Impact. It’s no surprise that the Watatsumi General is featured along with Itto since Gorou can really boost the Oni to another level. The Canine Warrior’s ability can grant a defense bonus, Geo damage bonus, and he can even boost Geo crit damage with Constellations.
As for Chongyun, he doesn’t have any relation with Itto either in lore or combat. The Exorcist wields a Genshin Impact Claymore like Itto, but instead of working as the main DPS, Chongyun is better utilized as a sub-DPS. His Elemental Burst can grant decent damage, while his Elemental Skill can provide many supportive properties like cooldown reduction and Cryo infusion.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
