Genshin Impact has already confirmed the arrival of two new characters in the upcoming update 2.7 - Yelan and Kuki Shinobu. Both of these characters are expected to arrive in the same update, but they will most likely be divided into two separate banners. In addition, this update looks to be bringing new weapons.

One of the game’s most credible leakers named Ubatcha1 has revealed a new Genshin Impact weapon for the upcoming update 2.7. The new five-star bow is called Aqua Simulacra and will serve as the signature weapon for the new character Yelan. According to the leak, the weapon will have the following stats:
Weapon Type: Bow Rarity: Five-star Base Attack: 44-542 Secondary Stat (Crit Rate): 19. 2-88. 2 Passive: Increases HP by 16-32%. If there are no opponents near the weapon holder, the damage is increased by 20-40%. This passive will remain active even if the character leaves the field.
Previous Genshin Impact leaks have already revealed a big portion of Yelan’s whole kit. Her damage output will scale with HP which means that this weapon is a perfect fit for Yelan due to its passive. The current beta leaks show that she will most likely be a new Hydro support character. When it comes to the rarity, she has already been confirmed to be a five-star character.
This weapon is also a great fit for Fischl, especially if she has all six of her constellations unlocked. However, Fischl and Razor are the two characters that rarely get featured on a limited banner which means that players should try to acquire them whenever there is a chance to do so. Another potential character for this weapon is Venti who’s a part of the current Genshin Impact 2.6 double banner alongside new character Kamisato Ayato.
Aqua Simulacra will not be the only weapon that will arrive in the upcoming update. The same leaker has previously revealed another four-star bow named Fading Twilight which will apparently be obtainable for free by finishing a couple of quests. Both of these weapons are quite flexible since they can be used on DPS, sub-DPS, and support characters.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
