Each update has its beta phase which almost always reveals the majority of the upcoming content. Recent beta leaks for Genshin Impact Version 3.0 have revealed a bunch of new characters and weapons which should be a part of the new update.

The addition of a new major region will introduce Sumeru-themed items and characters. A popular Genshin Impact leaker named Dimbreath has revealed the names of the seven new weapons which are expected to arrive in the following update. According to Dimbreath, Genshin Impact Version 3.0 will introduce only one new five-star weapon named Hunter’s Path, and it will have the following stats:
Rarity: five-star weapon Weapon Type: Bow Base stat: 44-542 Secondary Stat: Crit Rate (44. 10%) Passive: Increases elemental damage by 12-24%. Hitting an opponent with a Charged Attack will increase its damage by 160-320% of the character’s Elemental Mastery. This effect lasts for 12 Charged Attacks of for 10 seconds.
This will be the only five-star item, and it will probably serve as a signature weapon for the new five-star character Tighnari, who is confirmed to appear on one of the update’s banners. Tighnari is a strong DPS Genshin Impact character who has a special mechanic on his Charged Attack, similar to Ganyu which is probably the main reason why the weapon’s passive effect revolves around this type of attack. The remaining Sumeru-themed weapons are:
Forest Regalia (four-star claymore) Moonpiercer (four-star polearm) Timber Blade (four-star sword) Fruit of Fulfillment (four-star catalyst) King’s Squire (four-star bow)
The first four weapons will have a similar passive effect which creates a special kind of leaf once a Dendro elemental reaction is triggered. This leaf will grant additional Elemental Mastery or Attack, depending on the weapon. In the case of the bow, the weapon holder will receive an Elemental Mastery buff after activating their elemental skill or burst.
The leaker has mentioned one additional weapon which does not fit the Sumeru theme, and it’s called Trawler. It’s a four-star bow with Energy Recharge as its secondary stat meaning that it will most likely be a good choice for support characters like Fischl. The weapon has a passive effect that deals 80-160% AoE damage after the weapon holder uses an elemental skill.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
