Are Ayaka’s Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
It isn’t easy to reach Ayaka’s full potential when it comes to her Constellations. Unlike Hu Tao, for example, who has her best Constellation at C1, Ayaka’s best Constellations are her fourth and sixth ones. For players that can’t afford to go all the way or just don’t want to, it is not worth getting Ayaka’s first and second Constellation.
C1 - Snowswept Sakura
Effect: When Kamisato Ayaka’s Normal or Charged attacks deal Cryo Dmg to enemies, it has a 50% chance of decreasing the CD of her Elemental Skill, Kamisato Art: Hyouka, by 0. 3s. This effect can occur once every 0. 1s. Importance: Low
C1 Ayaka’s effect enhances her ability to stay on the field. Her Charged attacks hit multiple times, so it can reduce her Elemental Skill CD by almost one second if all her hits triggered the effect. However, Ayaka also shines as a Sub-DPS and this effect loses its importance when Ayaka spends less time in combat.
C2 - Blizzard Blade Seki no To
Effect: When casting Ayaka’s Elemental Burst, Kamisato Art: Soumetsu, it unleashes two smaller additional Frostflakes, each dealing 20% of the original storm’s Dmg. Importance: High
Although giving Ayaka’s Burst two more Frostflakes doesn’t greatly increase her damage, it does give her a wider range to continuously apply Cryo. Ayaka’s second Constellation effectively boosts her role as a Sub-DPS and sets the circumstances ready for her fourth one.
C4 - Ebb and Flow
Effect: Opponents damaged by Ayaka’s Elemental Burst, Kamisato Art: Soumetsu’s Frostflakes will have their Defense decreased by 30% for 6s. Importance: Priority
Ebb and Flow is one of the best Constellations in Genshin Impact. Once Ayaka unlocks that effect, she will be the perfect Sub-DPS in any team composition. C4 Ayaka will massively hurt enemies hit by her Burst by dropping their defense, allowing her Genshin Impact team to deal increased damage to them. What makes her fourth Constellation perfect is her C2 effect, which widens her Burst to reach more enemies.
C6 - Dance of Suigetsu
Effect: Kamisato Ayaka gains Usurahi Butou every 10s, increasing her Charged attacks Dmg by 298%. This buff will be cleared 0. 5s after Ayaka’s Charged attacks hit an opponent, after which the timer for this ability will restart. Importance: High
C6 Ayaka’s effect gives her additional damage on her Charged attacks. This increase is massive and will allow her to inflict more damage, especially since her Charged attacks have a decent AoE. All in all, once players reach the sixth Constellation, Ayaka will become top-tier and must be included in any Spiral Abyss team composition.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
