Of course, the Chessboard there doesn’t exist without purpose. Players can restore the missing Chess Pieces to the board to gain a new quest, then collect Activation Devices to get some Remarkable Chests. Other than for the Chest and achievement, restoring the devices also allow players to teleport to the corresponding location (although this isn’t very useful, of course). To get the La Luna Rossa achievement in Genshin Impact, players must locate all the Activation Devices first.

How To Get Every Activation Device In Genshin Impact
Although there are only five Chess Pieces to collect in Genshin Impact 3.4, there are seven Activation Devices that need to be restored to seven Chess Pieces.
Deshret’s Glass Goblet Khaj-Nisut The Mausoleum of King Deshret Temple of Gurabad Border Fort King Deshret’s Pillar Soulferry
Each of the restored Activation Device will grant a Remarkable Chest that rewards five Primogems and a furniture blueprint. Afterward, the La Luna Rossa achievement in Genshin Impact will be rewarded once all seven Devices are restored. So in total, this hidden exploration quest allows people to amass 40 Primogems.
Deshret’s Glass Goblet Activation Device Location In Genshin Impact
The Deshret’s Glass Goblet Activation Device can be found in Mt. Damavand. Return to the elevator that takes players to the Eternal Oasis, and the Device should be flying there.
Khaj-Nisut Activation Device Location In Genshin Impact
The Khaj-Nisut Activation Device in Genshin Impact can be found in front of the ruins.
The Mausoleum of King Deshret Activation Device Location In Genshin Impact

King Deshret’s Pillar Activation Device Location In Genshin Impact
King Deshret’s Pillar Activation Device is located underground, so if players forgot their journey in the first section of the desert, it can be tricky to find.
Luckily, players can simply go to their Inventory and use the Scarlet Sand Slate gadget. Choose Opet Hall from the menu and press the Go button. Follow the Slate’s guidance to get the King Deshret’s Pillar Activation Device.
Soulferry Activation Device Location In Genshin Impact
Finally, for the Soulferry Activation Device, head to Khemenu Temple Teleport Waypoint, and immediately use the door to the left. Walk through the hall, and the Activation Device should be there, leading people to the Soulferry.
