Of course, to celebrate the national festival, the characters that hail from Liyue are either busy preparing, or simply enjoying their time to relax. Where To Find Each Character During Lantern Rite In Genshin Impact

Here are the locations of all Liyue characters during the Lantern Rite event in Genshin Impact 2.4:

Xiao

Next to his long-gone Yaksha friend, Pervases, Xiao is watching over his shrine. Players can find it in Liyue, a few steps away from the nearest Waypoint to the Liyue Harbor. Xiao will refuse the Traveler’s invitation to watch the fireworks and states that as long as they fly high enough, anyone can see the fireworks from anywhere.

Chongyun And Xingqiu

Xingqiu and Chongyun are sitting at one of the tables in Qingce Village. Chongyun will remember Xingqiu’s Ancient Texts to eradicate demons, which is, as everyone can guess, another prank from Xingqiu. As always, it’s a funny conversation between the two of them.

Ganyu

Ganyu is standing on Mt. Aocang, exactly next to its Waypoint. When initiating a conversation with her, Ganyu states that Ningguang urged her to take a vacation and spend time with family and friends. However, the Qilin is afraid to spend more time with Cloud Retainer since she knows the White Crane will ask about her career and new crushes.

Qiqi And Baizhu

When teleporting to the Waypoint East of Qingce Village, if players jumped down to the house right under the Waypoint, they can see Qiqi and Baizhu stationed there, on a journey to visit some patients. Qiqi wants to watch the fireworks from a roof, but Baizhu doesn’t allow her since they have more work to do.

Yun Jin

At the same Waypoint East of Qingce Village, if the Traveler enters Granny Ruoxin’s house, they will run into Yun Jin inside. Yun Jin came to Qingce to perform for the elderly and children in the village. She expresses her joy knowing that everyone liked her performance and her visit here was a success. She then invites the Traveler for tea to watch Xiao’s Lantern Rite with her.

Beidou And Xinyan

Players can find Xinyan and Beidou at one of Liyue Harbor’s main entrances on the bridge leading to the docks. It appears that they partied all night and Xinyan feels sore from that night. While Beidou is apologetic about that night, Xinyan is satisfied and calls it the best Lantern Rite ever.

Shenhe

Shenhe is hanging around Liyue Harbor at the end of one of the docks. She tells the Traveler that Liyue Harbor is brighter than Mt. Aocang at night and she likes how people smile whenever Lantern Rite is mentioned. Shenhe then wishes Traveler to stick around for a longer time.

Keqing

Keqing is on the top of the Jade Chamber watching over Liyue Harbor with her new dress, enjoying the Lantern Rite fireworks. Of course, Keqing is worried if everyone is enjoying the festival and if she can do more to make it better. Later on, she invites the Traveler to show around the Harbor and what they prepared for the celebration.

Ningguang

Without a doubt, Ningguang is in the Jade Chamber, inside her office. She proudly tells the Traveler of how Liyue has a way to draw them back every once in a while. She voices her satisfaction at how this year’s festival turned out after their long and hard work.

Zhongli

As usual, Zhongli is at the Third-Round Knockout, listening to the Storyteller. The shop is near the East Waypoint in Liyue Harbor. He mentions that Wangsheng Funeral Parlor is currently idle because of the festival, so he’s taking his time to enjoy the celebration. Diving more into his conversation, Zhongli will recount the history of the Lantern Rite festival and how the habits changed by roots stayed the same.

Zhongli will move around Liyue later on. His second location is still in Liyue Harbor, in front of the blacksmith.

Hu Tao

Hu Tao is stationed outside of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor’s gate in Liyue harbor. Hu Tao explains how busy she was during the entire festival, learning new recipes from Xiangling herself. She proceeds to hand the Traveler one of her dishes and gets upset when they make a funny face in reaction to her dish.

Xiangling

Xiangling is busy inside her father’s shop, Wanmin Restaurant in Liyue Harbor. She has a little chat with the Traveler telling them about how busy she is usually during Lantern Rite and goes back immediately to keep up with the customer’s orders.

Yanfei

Yanfei is excited to see the Traveler at Yujing Terrace in Liyue Harbor. The law advisor says that she got a letter from her dad, reassuring her that he and her mom are fine. Her parents also wish Yanfei a happy Lantern Rite.
