One of the key things to keep in mind when choosing equipment for Barbara is the way her healing works. Barbara’s healing becomes more effective as her HP grows. Her healing ability is disconnected from her Elemental Mastery and ATK stats, so players should focus on feeding into Barbara’s hit points.

Updated on January 15, 2023, by Nahda Nabiilah: As the number of healers grows, the equipment that supports their healing increases as well. Having new sets of weapons and artifacts is not only good for the new characters, but it’s also beneficial to the classical healers, such as Barbara the original healer in Genshin Impact. These upgraded pieces of equipment help Barbara perform on a higher level inside her team compositions. Therefore, this article must be updated to include all the new shiny goods that now work perfectly with Barbara.

Best Healing Build For Barbara In Genshin Impact
Unsurprisingly, the best artifacts for Barbara are still 4pc of Maiden Beloved. HP/HP/HB is the best Main stats to maximize her healing as well. The best weapons that fully enhance her healing abilities are Everlasting Moonglow and Prototype Amber. But, considering Barbara can over-heal all her teammates, players can replace her HP% on Timepiece with Energy Recharge to make sure she can cast her Elemental Burst more often.
This can be an important change in her playstyle in challenging Genshin Impact content like the Spiral Abyss. Barbara will spend less time attacking enemies with her Hydro to heal and players will depend on her Elemental Skill passive healing alongside her Burst strong heal.
Players can also opt for 4pc Ocean-Hued Clam and have Barbara stay on the field, dealing Hydro DMG while healing her team through her Normal attacks and Elemental Skill. The DMG generated from Ocean-Hued Clam is decent, which makes it a viable option for on-field Barbara.

If players didn’t have the ability to build Barbara with 4pc of either Maiden Beloved or Ocean Hued Clam, then having two pieces of each of them is also a great option. Additionally, taking into account that Barbara depends on HP for her healing, Tenacity of the Millelith can fill in as another option for Barbara’s best healing build in Genshin Impact.
Best Supportive Build For Barbara In Genshin Impact
Even with minimal effort to boost Barbara’s healing stats, she can still over-heal her team and perfectly fulfill her role as a healer. Players can take advantage of that ability to shift her focus to operate more as a Support in Genshin Impact. Building Barbara with Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is super effective in turning her into a strong ATK% buffer. Her team’s main DPS will benefit from a whopping 48% ATK buff while she still maintains a decent HP% buff from the Catalyst’s secondary stat.
Another strong but limited Supportive Catalyst for Barbara would be Hakushin Ring. This weapon’s passive is activated when the wielder triggers an Electro-related reaction, which locks Barbara in specific team compositions. Still, that’s not that bad, considering how strong Hydro/Electro reactions are. Electro-charged reaction teams are widely used in multiple areas in the Spiral Abyss, which gives Barbara the ability to shine as a buffer when holding Hakushin Ring.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
