Other than guest challenges, players can also find NPC to challenge for Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG. These NPCs sometimes have normal character cards, while other times, they have unobtainable common enemy cards, like the Hilichurl. Because cards like Hilichurl have a low HP, characters that deal large single-target damage may not be the best way to handle them. Instead, players may want to try the following Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG PVE team.
3 Piercing Damage Team
Most PVE Adventure Challenges involve players dueling NPC with common enemy cards. These cards commonly have low HP, which means players can slowly chip the opponent’s HP down. To do this, Travelers must include cards that can deal Piercing DMG.
Piercing DMG is a damage type that occurs when players deal AoE damage through reactions like Electro-Charged and Superconduct, or through some character skills. Unlike normal DMG, Piercing DMG can’t be blocked or buffed, which means shields will be useless against it, but equipment also won’t enhance it.

Other than Piercing DMG, Swirl also hits in an AoE. However, if Piercing DMG can’t be blocked and is not considered any Element, Swirl will deal Elemental DMG according to the Element it touches. Swirl DMG also can be blocked normally.
In normal gameplay, AoE damage may be slow, but in a PVE match against small cards, they can easily annihilate the opponent. This is most apparent when considering the fact that the AoE damage applies to all characters on the field. This means if there are four cards, then one of them will get the main damage, while the other three will take the AoE hit. This brings few damage advantages compared to single-target hitters.

For this job, players can use either Electro-Charged, Superconduct, or pick characters that have an AoE hit. Here are some examples:
Ganyu + Keqing + Sucrose Xingqiu + Fischl + Oceanid Kaeya + Keqing + Fischl
2 Anemo For Shields
One of the most annoying NPC cards to fight is the Abyss Mages and other cards that have an Elemental shield. To remove these shields, players have to use the Elements that react with them. Unlike in normal gameplay where there’s a certain Element that depletes the shield faster than the other, all Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG reduce shields at the same rate.
For example, if a Pyro Abyss Mage’s Pyro shield is hit by Hydro, it will lose one shield point. Similarly, if the shield is hit by Cryo, it will also lose one shield point. The only exception here is with the Stonehide Lawachurl’s Stonehide. Any damage the Lawachurl takes will reduce their Stonehide point by one, but Geo DMG will reduce it by two points.
At times, an NPC will bring a deck that has three Abyss Mages at once; Pyro, Hydro, and Cryo versions. If players choose to remove the shield one by one, it’ll take too long, and may cost them one of the Adventure Challenge’s tasks.

Therefore, the best way to fight Abyss Mages in Genius Invokation TCG is by using Anemo cards. Anemo DMG will reduce one point from the target’s shield, then the Swirl damage will reduce one point from the other cards.
Team Comp Sample
There are currently three Anemo characters in Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG; Sucrose, Jean, and Maguu Kenki. Among them, Sucrose is the best option since she can deal Anemo DMG from her Normal Attack, which is less demanding in terms of dice.
Ideally, duelers would want to avoid having two Anemos at the same time as it offers little advantage. Players can try the following team comp for this method:
Ganyu + Keqing + Sucrose Maguu Kenki + Oceanid + Fischl Xingqiu + Chongyun + Jean
1 Wolf’s Gravestone Abuse
Since small cards like Slimes, Hilichurls, Nobushi, and so on have low HP (six or less), Wolf’s Gravestone can be abused to one-shot them. The 3-cost Claymore grants +2 DMG if the target has six HP or less, on top of the +1 DMG that applies with no condition. This means a Normal Attack will now deal a whopping 5 DMG instead of 2 DMG. This number will one-shot cards like Slimes and Hilichurls while leaving Nobushi with 1 HP left.
Fortunately, in most cases, players will be dealing more than 5 DMG. If players use Chongyun’s Talent card, a Cryo-infused Normal Attack will deal +1 DMG. If Noelle’s Sweeping Time is active, then her Normal Attack will deal +2 DMG. Meanwhile, Razor and Diluc can simply use their Elemental Skill to deal 3 base DMG instead of 2 DMG.
