Venti is a powerful bow user that can use Anemo magic to deal heavy damage and support his allies. What makes him so unique is his supportive abilities, as he can make fights that would have been challenging a breeze by helping out the other characters on the team. Not many other Genshin Impact characters can exert as much control over the battlefield as Venti.

Updated on September 19, 2022, by Nahda Nabiilah: Since Venti was first featured at the release of Genshin Impact, many things have changed. Whether it’s a shift in meta, a rework of the game mechanics, or simply the release of new pieces of equipment, these updates certainly push for things to adjust. Although the Anemo Archon is the God of Freedom, he’s not exactly free from the influence of change, and he too has to adapt to the existing upgrades. All this considered, this article has been updated so that players can widen their choice when building their Venti in Genshin Impact.
The Best Venti Build In Genshin Impact
Venti’s elemental skill, Skyward Sonnet, can be used to launch enemies into the air with a current of wind. When charged, it creates an even larger current that Venti and other characters can glide on to gain height. His elemental burst is called Wind’s Grand Ode and fires a massive vortex forward, sucking in enemies and dealing Anemo damage.
Once the enemies are trapped within Venti’s elemental burst, players are free to switch to another character and use an elemental attack. This will trigger swirl and cause massive damage, especially if the Viridescent Venerer set bonus that lowers the enemy’s elemental resistances is active. Characters with the same element as the one Venti swirled will also gain 15 energy once the ultimate ends. This set Venti as one of the best Battery in Genshin Impact.
Best Artifact Set For Venti
Artifact Main Stat
Venti Elemental Mastery Build Timepiece: Elemental Mastery Goblet: Elemental Mastery Circlet: Elemental Mastery Venti Attack Build Timepiece: ATK Goblet: Anemo DMG Bonus Circlet: Critical Rate or Damage
Venti really shines as a support character. The Anemo element, in general, enhances other elements with the swirl reaction, and his skills all hold enemies in place to make it easier for other characters to attack. With that in mind, the best build for Venti should first focus on energy recharge so that the elemental burst can be used as often as possible.
Once the energy requirement is fulfilled, players can now assemble Venti with their desired playstyle. Before the elemental reaction update on Genshin Impact 1.6, the traditional attack build yields a better damage output, but now, elemental mastery build is the better option.

Artifact Set
4pc Viridescent Venerer 4pc Noblesse Oblige 4pc Emblem of Severed Fate 2pc Viridescent Venerer + 2pc +18% ATK 2pc Viridescent Venerer + 2pc Noblesse Oblige 2pc Viridescent Venerer + 2pc +80 Elemental Mastery
For Venti’s best artifact set, players can consider 4pc Viridescent Venerer or 4pc Noblesse Oblige set bonuses, as both of these increase the power of Venti’s elemental burst and provide bonuses to allies attacking enemies caught within it. However, Viridescent Venerer is undoubtedly the top option for Venti. This set is so powerful that it can even outperform Emblem of Severed Fate on damage-focused build.
Best Weapons For Venti
Elegy for the End Polar Star Skyward Harp Thundering Pulse Sacrificial Bow The Stringless R5 Windblume Ode Favonius Warbow
Elegy for the End was not initially available when Venti was first released in Genshin Impact 1.0, but it then became available on his first re-run banner. This bow is not the best option for damage, but it provides a team-wide buff that’ll eventually raise the party’s overall DPS. For players who are seeking damage or simply don’t own Elegy for the End, then the next best options for damage would be Polar Star, Skyward Harp, and Thundering Pulse.
For the 4-star Genshin Impact weapons, players can opt for The Stringless, Windblume Ode, and Favonius Warbow. Windblume Ode is an event-exclusive weapon, so it may not be available for everyone, but luckily, Favonius Warbow is also an F2P bow.
The Favonius Warbow is widely considered a great weapon for the Anemo Archon as it provides Venti with more energy recharge and a chance for critical hits to create elemental orbs. This would make Venti an even better Genshin Impact Battery. However, for Favonius Warbow to work properly, players will have to ensure Venti have some Critical Rate.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
