The key to properly building Nahida is the ability to balance her stats out. Elemental Mastery is good, yes, but having too much of it is not ideal either. Finding out Nahida’s best weapon in Genshin Impact is necessary to maximize the DPS from her Elemental Skill, allowing her to shine as a Sub-DPS.

10 Blackcliff Agate

Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 55. 1% CRIT DMG R5 Effect: After defeating an opponent, ATK is increased by 24% for 30s. This effect has a maximum of 3 stacks, and the duration of each stack is independent of the others.

Blackcliff is always good for damage dealers in Genshin Impact because of its CRIT DMG substat and ATK bonus. However, for Nahida, this Catalyst exists mostly just for the substat. She benefits from the ATK buff, but not as much as she would with Elemental Mastery. Additionally, as a Sub-DPS, it can be hard for her to ensure the passive continuously stacks.

9 Sacrificial Fragments

Primary Stats: 454 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 221 Elemental Mastery R5 Effect: After dealing damage to an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has a 80% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 16s.

Nahida doesn’t really need the passive of Sacrificial Fragments considering her Elemental Skill only needs five or six seconds to be available again. Meanwhile, her Tri-Karma Purification stays for up to 25 seconds. However, this Catalyst is good for its immense Elemental Mastery substat.

8 Hakushin Ring

Primary Stats: 565 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 30. 6% Energy Recharge R5 Effect: After the character equipped with this weapon triggers an Electro elemental reaction, nearby party members of an Elemental Type involved in the elemental reaction receive a 20% Elemental DMG Bonus for their element, lasting 6s. Elemental Bonuses gained in this way cannot be stacked.

Hakushin Ring is only viable for Nahida if players are playing her in a Quicken team composition. At the cost of her personal DMG, Nahida can grant Elemental DMG buff for both Electro and Dendro characters. One thing to keep in mind is that she needs to trigger the Elemental Reaction for the passive to take effect.

7 Lost Prayer To The Sacred Winds

Primary Stats: 608 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 33. 1% CRIT Rate Effect: Increases Movement SPD by 10%. When in battle, gain an 8% Elemental DMG Bonus every 4s. Max 4 stacks. Lasts until the character falls or leaves combat.

Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds is actually not that good for Nahida, but the fact that it is a 5-star weapon in Genshin Impact saves it from being underwhelming. The weapon’s passive is good if players are playing her actively on the field, but considering she shines better as a Sub-DPS, the passive sadly has to go to waste.

6 Skyward Atlas

Primary Stats: 674 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 33. 1% ATK Effect: Increases Elemental DMG Bonus by 12%. Normal Attack hits have a 50% chance to earn the favor of the clouds. which actively seek out nearby opponents to attack for 15s, dealing 160% ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 30s.

Skyward Atlas is better than Lost Prayer of Sacred Winds simply because of its passive that Nahida can fully benefit from. However, keep in mind that Skyward Atlas is terrible on Nahida if players are using her in a Quicken team comp.

5 Mappa Mare

Primary Stats: 565 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 110 Elemental Mastery R5 Effect: Triggering an Elemental reaction grants a 16% Elemental DMG Bonus for 10s. Max 2 stacks.

Mappa Mare is the best F2P Forgeable weapon for Nahida in Genshin Impact. It has an Elemental Mastery substat which Nahida really benefits from, and a passive that is easy to stack as long as Nahida triggers an Elemental Reaction. But, it is important to ensure that the Catalyst is on high refinement rank. At lower refinement, Mappa Mare isn’t as competitive.

4 The Widsith

Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 55. 1% CRIT DMG R5 Effect: When a character takes the field, they will gain a random theme song for 10s. This can only occur once every 30s. Recitative: ATK is increased by 120%. Aria: Increases all Elemental DMG by 96%. Interlude: Elemental Mastery is increased by 480.

It is widely known that The Widsith is one of the best Catalysts in Genshin Impact. Nahida will benefit from any of the three available buffs in the weapon’s passive, making it even more powerful than it already is.

3 Solar Pearl

Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 27. 6% CRIT Rate R5 Effect: Normal Attack hits increase Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 40% for 6s. Likewise, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits increase Normal Attack DMG by 40% for 6s.

Solar Pearl can easily buff Nahida’s Elemental Skill DMG as long as players use her Normal attacks first. At maximum refinement, this battle pass weapon can get close to a low-stacked Kagura’s Verity. Since the Spiral Abyss requires players to be as fast as possible, Solar Pearl’s performance shouldn’t be underestimated.

2 Kagura’s Verity

Primary Stats: 608 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 66. 2% CRIT DMG Effect: Gains the Kagura Dance effect when using an Elemental Skill, causing the Elemental Skill DMG of the character wielding this weapon to increase by 12% for 16s. Max 3 stacks. This character will gain 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus when they possess 3 stacks.

Nahida can maximize Kagura’s Verity’s buff because its stack will refresh when a new stack is obtained, but this can only be achieved after 18 seconds, constantly switching in and out. It is good on paper, but in actual battle, Nahida likely won’t enter the field every five or six seconds, so players will need more time to maximize the weapon’s passive.

1 A Thousand Floating Dreams

Primary Stats: 542 Base ATK Secondary Stats: 265 Elemental Mastery Effect: Party members other than the equipping character will provide the equipping character with buffs based on whether their Elemental Type is the same as the latter or not. If their Elemental Types are the same, increase Elemental Mastery by 32. If not, increase the equipping character’s DMG Bonus from their Elemental Type by 10%. Each of the aforementioned effects can have up to 3 stacks. Additionally, all nearby party members other than the equipping character will have their Elemental Mastery increased by 40. Multiple such effects from multiple such weapons can stack.

A Thousand Floating Dreams is amazing for Nahida as her best build relies on players having a balance between Elemental Mastery, Dendro DMG Bonus, and Critical stats. This Genshin Impact Catalyst grants up to a 30% Dendro DMG Bonus, preventing players from over-stacking Elemental Mastery.
