When Candace gets her Constellations, she will have the ability to be more involved in her team’s strategies and elevate their gameplay. And since Genshin Impact’s Constellations can cost a lot to get, the question about whether to get Candace Constellations or not will be answered in this article.
Are Candace’s Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Candace is a Genshin Impact support unit that buffs Normal Attack DMG via her ultimate. For the support role, players should at least aim for her C2. Meanwhile, for sub-DPS, Candace should unlock all of her Genshin Impact Constellations.
C1 - Returning Heiress Of The Scarlet Sands
Effect: The duration of Prayer of the Crimson Crown effect triggered by Elemental Burst is increased by 3s. Importance: Priority
At C0, Candace’s Burst only lasts for 9s, while with her C1 upgrade, she can now buff the team for 12s. Considering her ultimate’s cooldown is 15s, cutting the downtime from 6s to 3s can make a lot of difference.
C2 - Moon-Piercing Brilliance
Effect: When Elemental Skill hits opponents, Candace’s Max HP will be increased by 20% for 15s. Importance: High
Whether it’s her supportive or offensive build, all Candace’s kit depends on HP stat in Genshin Impact. Since giving her HP is crucial, C2 Candace is a great passive to unlock.
C4 - Sentinel Oath
Effect: Shortens the Hold CD of Elemental Skill to be the same as that of the Tapping CD. Importance: Low
While it’s a little bit beneficial to have Candace’s Hold Skill have less Cooldown, it’s not that effective to her gameplay, and she’ll still perform the same way. She’s meant to be a character that gets on the field, Skills, Bursts, then leaves the field.
C6 - The Overflow
Effect: When characters (excluding Candace herself) affected by the Prayer of the Crimson Crown caused by Elemental Burst deal Elemental DMG to opponents using Normal Attacks, an attack wave will be unleashed that deals AoE Hydro DMG equal to 15% of Candace’s Max HP. This effect can trigger once every 2. 3s and is considered Elemental Burst DMG. Importance: Priority
C6 Candace turns into a viable sub-DPS in Genshin Impact. Having a decent Hydro application for a span of 12 seconds while off-field can massively impact many characters’ kits like Cyno. Even when this passive is meant to be supportive, it still packs a good enough DMG.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
