Luckily, Collei is fully functional without any of her Constellations, so getting one Collei should be enough for players to start their Sumeru journey and enjoy the Dendro Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact.

Are Collei’s Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact
Collei in Genshin Impact is the first 4-star Dendro character that’s meant to take the role of a support. Her Constellations both enhance her damage and her supportive ability, with Collei’s second and fourth enhancements being her most important Genshin Impact Constellations.
C1 - Deepwood Patrol
Effect: When in the party and not on the field, Collei’s Energy Recharge is increased by 20%. Importance: Low
Since Collei in Genshin Impact is better suited as a support or sub-DPS, she will spend most of her time off-field, which means the C1 effect is decent. However, 20% extra Energy Recharge would barely make a difference, making this Genshin Impact Constellation low in priority.
C2 - Through Hill and Copse
Effect: The Sprout effect from Collei’s Ascension Passive can now be extended by 3s, if, from the moment of using Elemental Skill to the moment when the current instance of Sprout effect ends, any party members trigger Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon reactions. Importance: Medium
Collei’s C2 is more important for its extra Dendro application rather than its damage. The Sprout hits every 1.5s, so it originally deals two instances of damage, then four instances after obtaining C2. If the Quicken debuff is present, two of these damages will deal Spread, while the other two will not.
The Sprout effect has a small AoE, so, unfortunately, this ability will be useless if players aren’t playing in melee range.
C4 - Gift of the Woods
Effect: Using Elemental Burst will increase all nearby characters’ Elemental Mastery by 60 for 12s (not including Collei herself). Importance: High
The fourth Collei’s Constellation in Genshin Impact enhances the team’s overall DPS, but not herself. Considering her Burst has a 15s Cooldown, this buff can be present a majority of the time.
C6 - Forest of Falling Arrows
Effect: When the Elemental Skill hits, it will create a miniature Cuilein-Anbar that will deal 200% of Collei’s ATK as Dendro DMG. Each Elemental Skill can only create one such miniature Cuilein-Anbar. Importance: Low
Lastly, Collei’s final Constellation in Genshin Impact is merely an addition to her damage. The extra Dendro application isn’t really significant considering the timing coincides with her Elemental Skill’s hit.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
