Zhiqiong said that the fragment looks similar to the one Iris found in Dragonspine. Most players may not remember it, but if they relive the Thaw All the Shards Out Genshin Impact Quest, they will see that the two shards look exactly the same. Because of this, Zhiqiong expects there’s a hidden civilization in the Underground Chasm. Later on, people will even see a Skyfrost Nail in the Underground Chasm, identical to the one in Dragonspine. To reach this section of The Chasm, players have to first activate the three mechanisms in The Heavenly Stone’s Debris Genshin Impact Quest.

How To Activate The Mechanism In The Heavenly Stone’s Debris Genshin Impact Quest

To activate the three mechanisms in the Heavenly Stone’s Debris Quest in Genshin Impact, Travelers simply have to clear the Oozing Concretions blocking the mechanism and then recharge it.

To get rid of this Genshin Impact Dark Mud, players have to ensure their Lumenstone Adjuvant is at least level two. Otherwise, their gadget won’t be able to clean the block.

To recharge the mechanism, players will need three energy points on their Lumenstone Adjuvant. As clearing the Oozing Concretions will consume one, a level two gadget would be left with two energy.

Luckily, around the area, there are some light fountains to activate. Travelers can use this to recharge their Lumenstone Adjuvant.

When players come close to the mechanism on the west, a Standard Bearer Shadowy Husk will spawn. Defeat it, then recharge the machine.

For the mechanism on the south, the Oozing Concretion needs to be found first. Walk west following the Dark Mud until the Oozing Concretion comes into sight.

After activating all three mechanisms in the Heavenly Stone’s Debris Quest in Genshin Impact, a Hydro Abyss Herald will appear. So make sure to have appropriate characters in the team beforehand.

A Hydro Abyss Herald’s shield is best countered with Cryo characters. Ayaka is the best option for this job, but if players don’t have her, then they can opt for Chongyun. Chongyun’s Elemental Skill will infuse Claymore, Sword, or Polearm with Cryo, making it easy for people to apply the Element on the enemy. For this method, Polearm characters are the best option as they have faster attacks compared to the other two weapons.

A cutscene will start after activating the three mechanisms. Afterward, don’t forget to collect the Genshin Impact Lumenstone Ore nearby. This item is required to further upgrade the Lumenstone Adjuvant at levels six and eight.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
