In version 3.2, Dendro Hypostasis is added as the boss required to ascend Nahida, the Dendro Archon of Sumeru. Unlike most Hypostasis that frowns upon characters of the same Element, the Dendro Hypostasis in Genshin Impact demands players to have a Dendro unit in the team. In summary, here’s how people can easily beat the Dendro Hypostasis in Genshin Impact.

How To Reach Dendro Hypostasis In Genshin Impact
To reach the Dendro Hypostasis in Genshin Impact, use the Teleport Waypoint south of Aaru Village, then glide down and find a cave underneath the Waypoint.
Enter the cave and follow the halls to reach the Dendro Hypostasis.
How To Beat Dendro Hypostasis In Genshin Impact
Dendro Hypostasis in Genshin Impact can only be attacked when it exposes its core (like typical Hypostasis). Once players depleted the boss’ HP, it will enter a Cleansing State and summon three Restorative Piths. Hit the Pith with Dendro to activate it. Afterward, players can use Electro to activate the Pith further, increasing the recovery rate. Once the green bar (under the boss’ HP bar) is filled, the Dendro Hypostasis will be defeated.
If all three Piths are fully activated, players can fasten the process even more by hitting the Dendro Hypostasis itself. This method is especially useful if there’s no Electro unit on the team. It won’t increase the progress as quickly as the Piths, but it will fasten it nonetheless.
While activating the Restorative Piths, keep in mind that the Dendro Hypostasis will throw a Dendro bomb at the players. If this bomb hit an activated Pith, it will be deactivated and Travelers will need to reactivate it.
Additionally, people should be wary when using a Pyro character, especially Hu Tao. Hu Tao’s Blood Blossom may deal Pyro damage when the Dendro Hypostasis is in a Cleansing State, and this will cause the Burning reaction to occur.
This Dendro Elemental Reaction in Genshin Impact deals continuous Pyro damage, which reduces the cleansing process of the boss. The reduction is mostly negligible, but it should be considered nevertheless.
Team Recommendation For Dendro Hypostasis In Genshin Impact
To beat the Dendro Hypostasis in Genshin Impact, players must have a Dendro character in their team. Ideally, this should be a unit that can deal Dendro DMG without cooldown, so it’s either Collei, Tighnari, or Nahida. Meanwhile, Dendro Traveler may be too slow for this task. Players should also consider having an Electro character to fasten the Cleansing process, but it’s not mandatory like Dendro.
For the DPS, Electro characters are the best option thanks to Aggravate Reaction, but any other type is fine too as long as it’s not Dendro.
Players can try something like:
Nahida, Collei or Tighnari Raiden Shogun, Cyno, Yae Miko or Keqing Sub-DPS Shielder or Healer
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
