RELATED: Genshin Impact: Best Fischl Build
Updated January 25, 2022 by Scott Vengel: Genshin Impact only continues to grow with each update. As of version 2.4, the Genshin Impact tier list has expanded to include a variety of different Anemo and Hydro characters, like Kazuha and Kokomi. As such, in order to keep all articles updated and in agreement with rapidly changing sources, this article will be updated to reflect the newest roster and how that affects cleaning the Statues of the Seven. Hopefully, players just starting to play Genshin Impact will find these changes insightful.
How To Clean The Statues Of The Seven
The Statues of the Seven are all over the world of Genshin Impact, representing the seven gods of their world. Knowing that the main character’s sister or brother was stolen by a god, the players must inspect each of the god statues they come across.
The statue at Starfell Lake is one of these, and it is cleaned in the same way that all the other statues can be. It will keep players busy while they await the new content that the game is always releasing.
Required Types Of Characters
The cleaning of the statues will require having one of several characters with Hydro or Anemo. There are currently twelve total characters in the game that fulfill that requirement. Only a couple of them are S-Ranked, highest on the Genshin Impact character tier list:
Xiao (Anemo) Venti (Anemo) Sucrose (Anemo) Kazuha (Anemo) Xingqiu (Hydro)
That said, the task can be completed with any Anemo or Hydro character. For best results, players should choose a character with crowd-hitting abilities, as there will be a fight after the statue is clean. Jean and the Anemo Traveler make for great choices for this task, as their elemental skill allows them to push their opponents into nearby waters with ease.
In order to change out a character in a party, players just have to summon Paimon and rearrange who is one of the four in a party. Select the Hydro or Anemo (wind) character with the d-pad on PS4 or PS5 or 1-4 keys on PC.

Once the Hydro or Anemo character is the avatar of the party, they need to use their Elemental Blast skill. To clean the Statues of the Seven, aim the skill directly at the dirty statues, then jump and glide at the statue. The combination of the gliding and the wind or water will clean it enough for whichever Genshin Impact twin players chose to interact with it.
Players will know that the statue is clean when enemy Pyro Slimes spawn nearby, initiating a fight. Pyro Slimes are easy opponents which can be defeated with nearly any element. For best results, players should avoid using Pyro characters (who cannot damage the slimes with their elemental attacks). In their place, players can use a Hydro character for high damaging Vaporize reactions, or an Anemo character that can launch the slimes into nearby waters (defeating them instantly).
Sometimes, if the Statue of the Seven isn’t located at Starfell Lake, the commission to clean the statues will spawn a different type of slime: Cryo Slimes at the Dawn Winery or Anemo Slimes at Windrise. In these cases, players will not be able to defeat slimes by knocking them in nearby water. Instead, players should bring either a Pyro or Bow user respectively.
Rewards For Cleaning A Statue Of The Seven
As for why Genshin Impact players would bother cleaning the Statues of the Seven, there are several benefits for those who are not above minimal cleaning labor. Cleaning and offering elemental oculi to statues give players rewards that are worth a little elbow grease to get.
Cleaned statues become waypoints for fast travel Restore parties to full health Allows players to change elemental talents Grant players blessings for leveling Adventure Ranks
These tasks also give players Adventure EXP and Primogems, which are always helpful for those looking to pull more characters from the banner system. Hopefully, players will get to see even more statues and Hydro and Anemo characters in upcoming updates.
Genshin Impact is available for mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5.
