Number 8 Location
As indicated on the quest page, number 8’s location is outside of the Stormterror’s Lair. Both the Iron Coins that players can dig up and the co-op challenge will be in this location. Players are not guaranteed a co-op challenge with every new day and new location, but if players do get one, it will be located where the red star is on the map below. Look for a grassy area right outside the ruins.

The Challenge
Players will have to battle some pretty tough enemies in this challenge. They will face 2 Hydro and 1 Cryo abyss mages and will only have 30 seconds to dispatch them. Luckily for players, these are called co-op Genshin Impact challenges for a reason. Players can bring along a friend to help out and get rid of those abyss mages in the time allotted.
Don’t have any friends that have the challenge? Not a problem; players can check the Genshin Impact Discord or Reddit to find other players that may need help on this challenge as well. Players will certainly want to help out; they get loot or XP for their trouble. Players can only help out up to three other players and still get rewards, however. So keep that in mind if looking to help out friends or strangers with their co-op challenges.
Starting the Lost Riches Quests
If players don’t currently have access to these quests, don’t worry. All they have to do is head to the Stone Gate and have a chat with the NPC Ulman. If a player is Adventure Level 20 or higher and have completed Genshin Impact’s prologue, they should get access to the Lost Riches Event quests from Ulman. He’ll ask the Traveler to seek out Iron Coins, and will give them a map to get them going in the right direction.
This is currently Day 4, and players will have two new locations everyday to look for while this challenge is live. Players can also earn a free in-game pet seelie if they complete enough of these challenges.
Players can also get in on the current Hypostatic Symphony event in Genshin Impact as well to earn even more loot and wish for new and exciting wishes.
Genshin Impact is available now on mobile devices, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
