The Pyro Hypostasis is found in the north of the Kannazuka region of Inazuma. For players just starting off their adventure in Inazuma, the region is only accessible by unlocking one of the Waverider waypoints on the west coast of Narukami Island and traveling to the region by boat.

While the Pyro Hypostasis may look similar to the previous Hypostasis enemies players faced in Mondstadt and Liyue, there are several mechanical differences that players should be aware of before they start the fight.
One of the first things that players will notice when they begin their fight against the Pyro Hypostasis is that the boss has an orange shield bar. This bar represents the boss’s pyro shield which makes the enemy impervious to any of the player’s attacks. As a result, players’ first priority should be to destroy the shield as quickly as possible with Hydro-element characters.
Once the boss’s shield has been depleted, players will now be able to deal damage to the Hypostasis core like they would in any of the other Hypostasis fights. However, players should be aware that during this phase the boss will repeatedly attempt to recharge his pyro shield.
To prevent the boss’s shield from recharging, players must quickly destroy the three “tinders” that spawn around the boss. The tinders are instantly destroyed by any Hydro elemental attack, so it is recommended to prioritize Hydro characters during this phase (Barbara’s auto attack and Xingqiu’s burst work best).
While the Pyro Hypostasis employs a number of attacks, most of them are easily dodged and should be recognizable from the previous Hypostasis boss battles. One of the most difficult attacks to avoid is the rolling attack. During this attack, the Pyro Hypostasis will morph into a flaming ball and repeatedly charge at the player. While the Cryo Hypostasis had a similar ability, it was far easier to dodge. To effectively avoid the ability, players must wait to dodge the flaming ball at the very last second.
Once players have successfully defeated the Pyro Hypostasis they must submit 40 original resin to claim the rewards from the fight. Players looking to farm the boss repeatedly for Yoimiya’s ascension materials should leave the boss arena after the fight, and wait three minutes before they return to the arena in order for the boss to have respawned.
