Genshin Impact players stand to get some notable rewards from the Frostbearing Tree, so taking the time to hunt down these collectibles is advised. Alternatively, players can collect them as they go, but there are still bound to be a few that are missed that way, especially once players start using teleportation as their primary method of getting around.

For this Crimson Agate in particular, players are going to need to have access to the top of the mountain. This means the quest “In the Mountain” must be completed, clearing away the wind and unlocking the domain called Peak of Vindagnyr.

Warp to the Peak of Vindagnyr domain and open the map. This new Dragonspine region is called Skyfrost Nail, and players can find this Crimson Agate right between the “f” and “r” of Skyfrost, but the map above shows the exact location. Follow the path up the mountain until coming across what looks to be a dilapidated tower. The Crimson Agate is inside this tower, but it is only open from the back or above. Climb the mountain to the side until the Crimson Agate is in sight and then inch over far enough to drop down into the broken tower.

Unlike some other Crimson Agate locations, this one doesn’t require any specific element or character to get, but players will need to make sure they have access to this portion of the map. For those that don’t yet, head down to the Adventurer’s camp and start the “In the Mountain” quest. This is a long and difficult quest to clear the wind blocking the path up the mountain, but it also unlocks several features and has decent rewards.

After collecting this Crimson Agate, be sure to search the surrounding area. There’s at least one more of these collectibles nearby and there could well be more. Players that have already collected all 79 Crimson Agates and are wondering where to get the rest need to turn their attention to the Crimson Wish quests, as these will grant the last few Crimson Agates that players need.

Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, and PS4, and later on Switch.
