The Peculiar Pinion in Genshin Impact
In order to even begin looking for all 30 Electroculus in the foggy Tsurumi Island, players will need to get a new gadget called the Peculiar Pinion. Once this purple feather is in their possession, players will be able to find hidden objects with it, similar to the way the Memento Lense works.

In order to get this gadget, players will need to complete the World Quest Octave of the Maushiro. This is the second part of the quest chain Through the Mists, right after the Particularly Particular Author quest. Players will have to complete Octave of the Maushiro by finding (then losing and finding again) the Maushiro and giving it to Sumida. These quests are triggered by chatting with Katherine in Inazuma City.
In order to use the Pinion, Genshin Impact players will have to equip it while in the Tsurumi Islands. When near an object that can be interacted with, the icon in the middle right of the screen will pulse, giving a clue as to where the hidden treasure it’s pointing to is located. Pressing the Use button for the gadget near the pulsing object will unveil hidden objects, just like the 30th Electroculus.
The Location of the 30th Electroculus on Tsurumi Island
The 30th Electroculus is located in the northwestern section of the Tsurumi Island part of Inazuma.
Fall into the cave found there, and look for an opening to the east.
It will lead deep underground, under the ocean. Watch out for Genshin Impact’s dangerous Rifthound enemies. Keep heading straight through the tunnels until a round door can be found.
Head straight through the door and run off the edge of the cliff on the other side of it.
The wall to the player’s left should trigger the Peculiar Pinion to start pulsing and it will also make a sound to let players know they are close. Turn to face that left wall, then use the Pinion to reveal a hole in the wall. The Electroculus will be inside.
Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5.
