Enjou claims to be fluent in the ancient language of Enkanomiya and says that he’s there to assist the “hero” in finishing the trial. As the first task, the Traveler must find an item called Golden Bridle. The scholar says that this treasure can be found nearby, just behind the library.
However, once players reach the mentioned area, they’ll soon find that the Golden Bridle is hidden behind some mechanisms. To properly investigate the rear of the library and solve the puzzle, Genshin Impact players can follow this guide.
How To Investigate The Rear Of The Library In Genshin Impact
After arriving at the marked spot, players will find a small building with a chest inside. However, the road to access the box is blocked so they have to find a method to open the way. To do that, players have to hit the Triangular Mechanism that’s available around the place.
The first one players need to trigger is the mechanism on the east. To do so, simply hit it with any kind of attack. Afterward, a small cutscene will play, showcasing that a wall has shifted from its place.
Next, walk to the southern part of the building and find the second Triangular Mechanism. Just like before, hit it with any attack to trigger the cutscene.
If players did this correctly, their quest prompt will change to, “Obtain the Golden Bridle.” When this happens, simply walk inside the building and follow the hallway. Eventually, players will arrive in a small room with a chest sitting inside.
Opening this Genshin Impact chest will grant typical Exquisite Chest rewards, along with the needed quest item, Dull Golden Bridle. After this, players have to go back to the library and speak to Enjou. The scholar will then ask the Traveler to meet him in Dainichi Mikoshi. However, he didn’t give much clue on how to reach the place he refers to.
Luckily, Genshin Impact hints the spots players need to set foot to. Eventually, Enjou can be found on a broken bridge of Dainichi Mikoshi. This task will require players to go around the area, even to the point of circling a different island in the south.
Fortunately, though, this hassle proves to be worth it as Enjou soon leads players to the most important mechanism of Enkanomiya. This machine will allow people to change the time in the area, from Whitenight to Evernight, and vice versa. Switching the time will trigger many different things, but the most notable one is the availability of some puzzles.
