What is A Thousand Questions with Paimon?

For anyone who has been playing Genshin Impact for a while, the A Thousand Questions with Paimon event won’t be anything new. This event has been around for a while: players had the option to answer Paimon’s thousand questions back in December 2020 and also in April 2021. Players have to answer 10 questions a day. Each correct answer earns players 5,000 Mora which gives them a total of 50,000 Mora each day. So anyone who plays for the whole weekend and answers all the questions right will earn 150,000 Mora, which is quite the payload. The questions are available on August 27, 28, and 29, 2021, and they reset at 4AM local time.

This event is an in-browser event and not in-game, similar to the recent Distant Voyage or The Heron’s Invitation Web Event. But the link is not available through miHoYo’s website as it usually is, so players will have to find a way to answer Paimon’s questions through a different method.

How to Access A Thousand Questions with Paimon

In order to answer Paimon’s questions, players will have to access Paimon’s menu. In the menu, look for a button that says “Special Event.” If players are on PC or mobile, the Special Event tile will bring them right to the browser window, opening the link for players to answer those questions. However, on the PlayStation, it will bring up a QR code to scan on a mobile device that will take the player to the link on their phone.

Next, players will have to login to their miHoYo accounts. Then they can answer their questions for the day. Each question is a multiple choice question with four answers or a True or False question. If a player gets an incorrect answer, don’t worry; this test can be retaken. Mora rewards will be sent to the players’ inbox within about 10 minutes of completing the quiz. Several questions have been added to the rotation this time around, pertaining to new characters and locations that have been added to the game since the last Thousand Questions event, but most of those that can appear are the same as in previous events. There are about 150 total possible questions.

Genshin Impact is available for mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5.
