Players are able to accept the first quest from the Shrine Maiden in the Kujou Encampment and will receive follow-up quests from an NPC named Xavier in the north of the Tatarasuna region. Players are only able to complete one quest in the Tatara Tales questline per day, and will be able to rid the area of lightning through the final quest in the series titled " The Last Act."

To start the quest, speak with Xavier next to the waypoint in the north of Tatarasuna. After speaking with him inside the Mikage Furnace, players will be tasked with obtaining 3 missing components scattered throughout the area.
Head to the search area on the map and travel to the top of the path. Players should be able to see all three of the glowing components along the path. Once players have collected all three of the missing components, return to Xavier and submit them.
Players will now have to return to the Furnace photography locations from the previous Tatara Tales world quest. When players reach these locations, they will have to plant a device and defend it from a series of Fatui enemies that will spawn nearby.
Both the fights can be extremely challenging due to the constant damage that players will receive from the Electro storm in the area, and the difficulty of the enemies. As a result, it is recommended that players have at least one dedicated Genshin Impact healer in their party before starting either of the defense sequences.
Once players have successfully defended both locations, they will have to head to the top of the Mikage Furnace and speak with Xavier one final time. At this point, the electro-storm will have subsided and players will now be free to explore the Mikage Furnace without having to worry about enduring continuous damage over time.
Players must now head to the Kujou Encampment and speak with Toranosuke to inform him that the Mikage Furnace has been fixed. After speaking with Toranosuke, players will unlock the Tatara Tales achievement and will receive 40 Primogems, and 3 Heroes Wit.
Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version in development.
