Another amazing mechanic is the new Domains scattered around Sumeru, waiting to be discovered. One of them is the Coordinates of Sun And Rain, which require three quests to be unlocked. The Genshin Impact Domain can be found south of Apam Woods on a lone island, blocked by a special barrier.

How To Unlock The Coordinates Of Sun And Rain In Genshin Impact
To unlock the Coordinates of the Sun and Rain Domain, players need to clear the obstacle blocking the path. After completing the Varuna Gatha world quest, head southeast from the weather-changing device, up the slope, and use any Dendro character in Genshin Impact to activate a Dendro monument. If not available, Summon Dendrograna to use any character.
A Dendro Object will appear above the monument, but it won’t be activated with the normal Dendrograna.
Here, players need to follow the trail emitting from the monument to a broken Sprouting Branch, guarded by enemies. Defeat them, then approach it and use the Vintage Lyre to play the Rhythm of the Sprout, fixing the branch and obtaining a Healthy Dendrogranum.
Turn back to the monument and use a Genshin Impact Bow character to shoot the Dendro Object. The barrier will disappear, and the Coordinates of the Sun and Rain Domain will be seen.
How To Get To The Coordinates Of Sun And Rain In Genshin Impact
The Domain can be found south of Apam Woods on a lone island. Travel to the Teleport Waypoint southeast of Apam Woods and proceed west to the island, where there’s a big tree. In the middle, there’s a hole in the ground that leads to a large underground area. If players follow the path, they should end up at the Coordinates of the Sun and Rain Domain.
Necessary Quests To Unlock The Coordinates Of Sun And Rain In Genshin Impact
The necessary quests to unlock the Coordinates of Sun and Rain Domain in Genshin Impact are:
Aranyaka: Part II world quest “The World of Aranara. " Varuna Gatha world questline. Aranyaka: Part II world quest “The Rhythm that Nurtures the Sprout. "
The first one will reward the Vintage Lyre, an important Gadget that’ll be used plenty of times later on. The World of Aranara quest also leads players to the ‘real’ world of Aranara.
The second world questline is the Varuna Gatha, which is divided into three quests; Memory of Stone, Irate Iron Chunk, and Slumbering Roots. Each one of these will make the Traveler find a unique ‘branch’ and then change the direction of three ‘leaves’ to it in Genshin Impact.
The Rhythm that Nurtures the Sprout quest is the most crucial one out of all of them, as it awards players the Rhythm of the Sprout that fix the broken Sprouting Branch holding the Healthy Dendrogranum. Without it, the Coordinates of Sun and Rain cannot be opened.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
