With her first rerun in Genshin Impact 2.6, it’s no surprise that Ayaka’s best weapon in Genshin Impact, Mistsplitter Reforged, is featured alongside her. Meanwhile, for the second featured weapon, players have some chance to get The Unforged. Since the weapon banner’s guaranteed drop doesn’t come so easily, players may be wondering whether it’s worth it or not to risk getting The Unforged. Therefore, this article will specify how each weapon performs and provides a tier list to help players decide their worth.

Is Mistsplitter Reforged Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Base attack: 674 Sub-stat: 44. 1% Crit DMG Passive: When wielding this weapon, the user gains a 12% Elemental Dmg Bonus for all elements and receives the might of the Mistsplitter’s Emblem. This effect can stack up to three times. With each stack, it provides an 8/16/28% Elemental Dmg Bonus for the user’s Elemental Type. Activating the Passive: The user will get a stack of Mistsplitter’s Emblem in each of the following scenarios. Each stack’s duration is calculated independently. If Normal Attack deals Elemental damage, the player receives a stack lasting 5 seconds. Upon using their Elemental Burst, the user will get a stack lasting 10 seconds. If the user’s Energy is less than 100%, they will receive a stack which disappears when their Energy is full.
Mistsplitter Reforged is a decent addition to any DPS in Genshin Impact. At R1, the Sword buffs Elemental damage by up to 40%. This kind of buff is great if used on the right characters. The first 12% Elemental damage boost is immediately available upon wielding the 5-star weapon, while the other 28% depend on the user’s interaction and combat style.
There are three waves of Elemental damage increase split into three stacks. The first is by casting an Elemental Burst, which is fairly easy for all characters. The second is by not having the Burst ready, also easy for everyone. The third stack is a bit tricky. To maximize the Mistsplitter Reforged damage, it requires the wielding character to perform an Elemental Normal attack. Only a handful of units can trigger its effect easily: Ayaka, Keqing, and Ayato. The rest of the Genshin Impact sword users need another Support that infuses their Normal attacks, such as Chongyun or C6 Bennett.
In conclusion, Mistsplitter Reforged is an amazing weapon for plenty of characters, making it highly worth it to own. Most sword users will use the Mistsplitter Reforged at a stable 28% Elemental Dmg increase buff, and a handful of units can unlock the 40% full potential of the 5-star weapon.
Character Tier List For Mistsplitter Reforged
Players can equip Mistsplitter Reforged on most Sword characters in Genshin Impact, but some will make better use of it than others.
S-Tier: Ayaka, Keqing (Electro), Kaeya, Ayato, Xingqiu, Bennett (High Base ATK), Traveler (Geo and Anemo) A-Tier: Albedo, Jean, Kazuha B-Tier: Qiqi Don’t use: Traveler (Electro)
Is The Unforged Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Base attack: 608 Sub-stat: 49. 6% ATK Passive: Increases Shield strength by 20%. Hitting opponents increases ATK by 4% for 8 seconds; this effect stacks a maximum of 5 times. It can only occur once every 0. 3 seconds. While protected by a shield, this effect is increased by 100%.
The Unforged is a simple Claymore to use in Genshin Impact. The weapon passive increases Shield strength and fully buffs ATK%. Units that have high Base ATK will benefit the most from the whopping 50% ATK sub-stat. The Claymore also adds an extra 40% ATK to shielded units, for a total of 90% ATK increase. However, note that it can be hard to obtain a decent Crit ratio with this Claymore.
The Unforged highly depends on a shield, so the character wielding this Claymore should be shielded somehow. If this requirement can be fulfilled, The Unforged’s power should not be underestimated. This Genshin Impact Claymore should only be used on high Base ATK units.
The Unforged Tier List
Surprisingly, The Unforged is excellent on the Vengeance Queen, Eula (assuming there’s a shielder in her team). Meanwhile, the jack-of-all-trades, Noelle, can shield herself, making her a great contender to wield the Claymore.
S-Tier: Eula, Noelle A-Tier: Arataki Itto, Razor, Xinyan (DPS), Diluc B-Tier: Beidou, Chongyun Don’t use: Sayu, Xinyan (Support)
