In Jean’s case, she has a good set of Constellations that can drive her utility to add more to every team comp she joins, which leaves her fans wondering if getting her Constellations is worth it or not in Genshin Impact.

Is Getting Jean Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact
C0 Jean is already an effective character in all her team compositions. The only way for her Constellations to be worth getting is by offering something she doesn’t have already. And indeed, they do. Each Jean Constellation grants her a new passive that further enhances her role as a support. For that, Getting Jean Constellations is worth it in Genshin Impact, at least until C2.
C1 - Spiraling Tempest
Effect: Increases the pulling speed of Gale Blade after holding for more than 1s, and increases the DMG dealt by 40%. Importance: Medium
C1 Jean packs a harder hit on her Elemental Skill, Gale Blade. It’s not a bad passive to have since Jean will be using her Elemental Skill often because of its low cooldown. It also encourages players to build and explore a Sub-DPS Jean that can throw enemies around like they weigh nothing.
C2 - People’s Aegis
Effect: When Jean picks up an Elemental Orb/Particle, all party members have their Movement SPD and ATK SPD increased by 15% for 15s. Importance: Priority
One of Jean’s best Constellations in Genshin Impact. C2 Jean gains an important effect to buff her team’s performance, especially the units that count on their Normal attacks. The C2 passive has a 100% uptime since Jean’s Elemental Skill has a lower cooldown than the C2’s duration.
C4 - Lands of Dandelion
Effect: Within the Field created by Dandelion Breeze, all opponents have their Anemo RES decreased by 40%. Importance: Priority
Another great but niche Constellation in Genshin Impact. C4 Jean is one of few characters that can shred enemies’ Anemo resistance by 40%. That 40% is an incredible amount of deduction and serves to make any Anemo character looks great unleashing their DMG. Obviously, making Jean a top-tier support for Anemo users in Genshin Impact.
C6 - Lion’s Fang, Fair Protector of Mondstadt
Effect: Incoming DMG is decreased by 35% within the Field created by Dandelion Breeze. Upon leaving the Dandelion Field, this effect lasts for 3 attacks or 10s. Importance: Medium
Having a DMG reduction is always a good thing to have in Genshin Impact. However, having such an effect on a C6 character instead of having some extremely useful talent is just underwhelming. Not to mention, in order for the DMG reduction passive to work, players have to stay inside C6 Jean’s Dandelion Field. Considering how good her healing is, the damage reduction is unnecessary.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
