The Genshin Impact event has multiple phases and there are requirements from players in order to participate. So for fans interested in learning about the entire event, here is a complete breakdown of the Lantern Rite Festival.
First off, gamers will not be able to access the event until they have completed Xiao’s quest in Genshin Impact. As of now, the quest is open for players who have at least reached Adventure Rank 23. After the festival event, it will go back up to Adventure Rank 40, so gamers should take advantage of this opportunity to play it.
Phase 1
After completing Xiao’s story mission, players will need to complete the “Origin of the Lanterns” quest that will appear after that. From there, finish all event world quests to increase the “Festive Fever” gauge level. In doing this, gamers should unlock the first stage of the Genshin Impact rewards in the Xiao Market.
Phase 2
The second phase of the Lantern Festival will not be available until February 14th. From there, increase the Festive Fever level to “Guests Flock From Afar” and finish the “Currents Deep Beneath the Lanterns” level. This should open up more world quests for players to complete and unlock a new Xiao Market rewards tier.
Phase 3
The third and final phase of the Lantern Festival will open up for players on the 18th of February. After finishing the “Light Upon the Sea” world quest, gamers should theoretically reach the “Glow of a Thousand Lanterns” Festive Fever tier level. After that, do the new requests that open up, and the last Xiao Market rewards bracket will be available.
Some of the rare items that can be unlocked from the Xiao Market are the Crown of Insight, Dust of Azoth, Hero’s Wit, Ascension Materials, and a lot of Mora. Hopefully, this guide can help fans have a better grasp of the event and celebrate the occasion as well. Also, earning the many great rewards along the way should hopefully serve to be a great motivation source too.
Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
