Similar to the Hypostatic Symphony event, in the Vagabond Sword event players will have access to a new boss challenge each day that they can complete for a variety of rewards. Each challenge completion grants players a 60 primogem reward in addition to several additional rewards that can be obtained by earning points through difficulty modifiers added to each battle.

The first boss that players will face in the challenge is the Revived Primo Geovishap. Due to the boss’s large AOE attacks and constantly changing elements, it is extremely important for players to add a shield character to their roster for the fight.

There are four characters that receive a 20% damage bonus in the first showdown against the Revived Primo Geovishap. These include; the soon-to-be-released Kazuha, Diona, Noelle, and Zhongli. While Zhongli is probably the ideal shield user to equip for the battle, F2P players should have plenty of additional options available.

One of the most important aspects of the boss that players will want to carefully consider is its Primordial Shower attacks. During the attack, the Geovishap will begin charging up a large elemental attack that will deal massive AOE damage.

If players have a shield equipped from a shard that matches the upcoming Primordial Shower attack, the attack will be countered and will subsequently deal a significant amount of damage to the boss. Due to the time limit of the fight, this strategy can be very effective if players hope to rack up a significant amount of points with difficulty modifiers.

It is entirely up to players’ discretion on what difficulty modifiers they choose to equip for the fight, however, there are several important factors to consider. If players want to obtain the unique name card available at the 21,000 score level, they will have to average 3000 points per challenge with difficulty modifiers.

With this in mind, players should try to increase the difficulty of the fight to expert in order to obtain 3000 points in the battle. While this may not be possible for all players, there are still multiple reward lots containing mora and heroes wit for players to obtain even without reaching the 21,000 score level.

Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version in development.
