The ongoing double banner in Genshin Impact 3.0 includes another limited five-star character, the Pyro user Yoimiya, and three four-star characters who have been a part of the game since release. While Yoimiya is a decent choice for most players who need a strong Pyro DPS unit, it’s safe to say that the arrival of the fourth Dendro Archon is the main event of this update.

Just like every other character in Genshin Impact, Nahida has a unique idle animation that can be triggered by simply being inactive in the game. This animation causes the new Archon to sit on a swing created by her Dendro element. While her idle quickly became a fan-favorite as it’s completely different from any other character in the game, players have found a way to exploit an interesting bug that allows Nahida to float across the map during this state. Reddit user JMSX101 has shared an interesting video showing how they managed to enter the third major region in the game, Inazuma, without reaching the required Adventure Rank 30.
Using an alternative account located on the islands east of Liyue Harbor, the Reddit user quickly swapped between Xiao and Jean which triggered the glitch that sent Nahida over the sea. After a couple of minutes of flying, the player entered the Inazuma loading screen and appeared on one of the decks in the Ritou region. Some players claim that this bug is actually very practical as it allows them to level up characters like Kazuha whose ascension items are located in Inazuma.
Even though fans claim that this is one of the most fun-to-use glitches in the game, developer HoYoverse already addressed the issue and confirmed that a fix is on its way. According to recent banner revenue reports, the new Archon is slowly becoming the most pulled character in Genshin Impact, a record currently held by Kamisato Ayaka.
However, it should be noted that Ayaka’s re-run banner had its numbers inflated due as it lasted three weeks longer than usual. The only reason why players might skip pulling for Nahida in the upcoming days could be the fact that HoYoverse already confirmed the arrival of another popular five-star unit named Wanderer, also known as Scaramouche.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
