There are a total of 7 challenges in the event for players to complete. A new challenge is unlocked each day of the event with each challenge offering 3 separate reward unlocks for reaching a score of 500, 1000, and 2000. After reaching a score of 500 in the challenge players will receive 60 primogems, at 1000 they will receive 2 talent books and 30 000 mora, and at 2000 will receive 3 Heroes Wit/Mystic Enhancement Ore and 30 000 mora.
After selecting a specific challenge, players will have the option to display the location of the challenge in the Golden Apple Archipelago. Players will then need to fast travel to the nearest waypoint in the vicinity of the challenge and make their way towards the challenge beacon.
Once players interact with the red challenge beacon, they will have 3 difficulty options; Normal, Hard, and Expert. Like the Legend of the Vegabond Sword event, these difficulties operate as score multipliers, with Expert Difficulty offering the highest multiplier and Normal offering the lowest.
Before starting the challenge, players should make note of the challenge-specific buff above the difficulty setting and must make sure to equip their Wind Blessed Harpastum ball for the event. The gadget is extremely important as it will allow players to destroy the various target disks that appear throughout the challenge.
Once the challenge has started, players will notice a momentum bar at the top of the screen. The bar is divided into various segments and dictates the number of combat buffs that players will receive throughout the challenge. To raise the momentum bar, players can either destroy the previously mentioned disc/targets with the Harpastum, or defeat Berserker enemies who will appear sporadically throughout the challenge and can be identified by an icon above their head.
In terms of team composition for the event, there are several points to keep in mind. While the player’s party composition should vary depending on the enemies being faced, one of the best character types for each challenge is any Crowd Control characters (Venti, Kazuha, Sucrose). These characters are ideal as they will allow players to group up the enemies into a single area, and then deal maximum damage with their main DPS.
With these tips in mind, players should be able to easily clear the Never-Ending Battle challenge, and save up a decent amount of primogems in the process to use on the upcoming Inazuma banners.
Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version in development.
