The last couple of updates have brought the islands of Inazuma, and it seems as though miHoYo is not planning to stop there. Recent Genshin Impact leaks have revealed that a brand new region named Enkanomiya will arrive in update 2.4 alongside new characters Yun Jin and Shenhe.

Even though there is a lot of expectations and hype surrounding Shenhe and Yun Jin, the addition of Enkanomiya surely stole the show. The new region Enkanomiya leaked a couple of days ago but the recent beta leaks pretty much confirm that these rumors are true. A recent leak on Reddit has revealed the Enkomoniya map alongside its teleport waypoints.
The new region will bring 21 teleport waypoints which means that players will be able to acquire a total number of 105 Primogems upon unlocking all of the waypoints. Looking at the map, there doesn’t seem to be much horizontal distance between the teleport waypoints which means that there will most likely be much more vertical distance. Enkanomiya could be similar to the Dragonspine region where certain parts of the map consist of multiple layers of playable terrain which require additional teleport waypoints.
The new update will bring two fan-favorite characters, Shenhe and Yun Jin. Both of these characters are tied heavily to Liyue which means that they will most likely not be a part of the same banner cycle that will introduce the new region. This could mean that both these characters will arrive on the same banner which is great news for players that want to add both of them to their roster.
Yun Jin and Shenhe are tied to the Liyue region which means that they will most likely not be a part of the same banner cycle that will introduce the Enkanomiya. This also means that both of them will arrive on the same banner which is great news for players that want to pull for both of them. There still isn’t any new information on what the second banner might bring. It will most likely include another double banner re-run just like it was the case with update 2.3.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
