The challenges and respective rewards for the trial include; 1) Completing the trial once- 70 primogems, 2) Finishing the trial after completing 5 mechanism challenges- 4 heroes wit, 3) Using a plunging attack to defeat 8 enemies in the trial- 4 guide to freedom, 4) Finishing the trial after taking no more than 5 hits from traps - 30,000 mora, and 5) Completing the trial with 6 or more minutes remaining on the timer- 6 Mystic Enhancement Ore.

Plunging Trial Guide for Genshin Impact
As the name of the trial implies, in the Plunging Trial the ley line disorder increases all party members plunging attack damage by 120%, and for each enemy hit by a plunging attack, all characters attack increases by 6% for 30 seconds (up to a maximum of 60%). As a result, players will have to carefully consider their party composition to cater to both the ley line disorder and the challenges that must be completed. It is important to note that when selecting a party in the Misty Dungeon event, each of the characters available is pre-built with specific weapon and artifact sets, and are not the builds that players have in their own roster.
To complete all of the dungeon’s challenges in one run, the optimal party setup should include; Keqing, Albedo, Sucrose, and Noelle. With Keqing and Albedo’s elemental skills both allowing players to execute plunging attacks from high elevations, the two characters are ideal for quickly eliminating 8 enemies with plunging attacks, and consistently keep the party’s attack percentage buffed due to the ley line disorder.
Throughout the dungeon, players will encounter several traps in the form of lasers, and pyro totems that will shoot at the player when within range. While the laser traps can be easily avoided with careful maneuvering, the pyro traps are far less forgiving. As a result, Noelle’s primary use in the trial is to keep party members constantly buffed with a shield. If players consistently have a shield active when moving between rooms within the dungeon, they should have no difficulty unlocking the challenge for finishing the dungeon after taking no more than 5 hits from traps.
In addition to the three ancient runes that players must activate to unlock the dungeon’s final challenge, players must also complete two additional benediction challenges in order to unlock all rewards in their run. If players are struggling with unlocking the challenge for completing the dungeon with 6 or more minutes remaining on the timer, it is highly recommended that they prioritize the turquoise “Everlasting” mechanisms and the blue “Godspeed” mechanism.
After completing the “Everlasting” mechanism, players will have their timer greatly extended, and after completing the “Godspeed” mechanism they will have the speed of all party members increased significantly. With all of these tips in mind, players should be able to complete all of the plunging trial’s challenges with ease.
