What are Sakura Blooms in Genshin Impact

Sakura Blooms are used for several things in Genshin Impact. Players will mostly need them as ascension materials for the new Cryo character named Ayaka. However, they can also be used in a recipe to make some delicious food for a Genshin Impact party or for decorations at a player’s home in the Serenitea Pot.

Sakura Tempura Recipe in Genshin Impact

Sakura Tempura is a delicious dish made in Genshin Impact. Players can grab the recipe from the world quest called Gourmet Supremos, Assemble! This quest is located in the Inazuma region, which is new to Genshin Impact’s update 2.0. The recipe is:

4 Shrimp Meat 2 Sakura Blooms 1 Flour 2 Lavender Melons

Once created, this dish increases the shield strength for 300s from 20% up to 30% depending on the cook quality of the tempura. There are two other Sakura Bloom recipes currently in Genshin Impact, including:

Tricolor Dango - Restores 30% to 34% Max HP and 600 - 1,900 additional HP to one target. 2 Rice, 2 Snapdragon, 2 Sakura Bloom, 1 Rice. Recipe obtained by purchase for 5,000 Mora from Kiminami Anna. Sakura Mochi - Revives and gives 900 - 1,500 HP to one fallen target. 2 Sugar, 4 rice, and 1 Sakura Bloom. This recipe was an in-game reward for the Version 2. 0 update.

Sakura Bloom Locations and What to Look For

All Sakura bloom locations will be on the largest island, called Narukami, in the new Inazuma location in Genshin Impact. Players need to keep an eye out for floating, pink clusters of glowing petals. There are about 30 locations total on the island, with the highest concentration of them being slightly northeast of the center of Narukami. These locations will respawn every 48 hours after being picked.

If players don’t want to location farm, they can also be planted inside a player’s Serenitea Pot if they have purchased A Path of Value: Luxuriant Glebe item from the Realm Depot. This should give players some fields to plant items, and Sakura Blooms can be farmed this way.

After locating one of these Sakura petal piles, players just need to attack it with an Electro attack. Players can use any of the Electro characters, including:

Beidou Fischl Keqing Lisa Razor Traveler Baal (upcoming character) Kujou (upcoming character) Yae (upcoming character)

Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5 with a version in development for the Switch.
