As the Vision Hunt Decree ends, the Sangonomiya army decides to host a Victory Feast. This celebration will be held one day before the peace talk with the Shogunate. To start the Sangonomiya Kokomi Story Quest, players have to find Gorou at the designated place. The Canine General will say that they’re trying to burn a Fatui ship. For this, they need the Traveler’s help.
After defeating the enemies, Gorou will have a little chat with the players. The General will say that he can feel the soldiers feeling unease, but he can’t figure out what they’re hiding. Because of this, Gorou requests the Traveler to check on them.
Now, players have to head to the Borou Village and question the stand-by guards. They will talk a little, but none mentioned the issue Gorou refers to earlier.
As Traveler walks closer to the village, they will find two soldiers arguing with a merchant. Upon meddling in the conversation, players now know that the guards are accusing the merchants of colliding with the Fatui. Luckily, Sangonomiya Kokomi arrives before things get out of hand.

The Watatsumi Priestess gives the merchant a chance to talk. He claims that his goods are stolen by the Fatui, that’s why he’s not carrying any with him right now. To avoid a false accusation, Kokomi decides to investigate the issue and see if the merchant is telling the truth.
To assist the Priestess, players have to use the Teleport Waypoint south of Watatsumi Island. Then, walk southwest until they find a Fatui camp. There, Sangonomiya Kokomi will show off her strategy skills, where she gives Traveler three options on how to handle the enemy.
Later on, Kokomi figures out that the merchant was telling the truth after all. She returns to Borou Village and soon finds herself being crowded by her subjects. As the leader of the island, the Divine Priestess has no choice but to listen to everyone’s problems.
The next day, Traveler tries to meet Kokomi at the agreed location. However, the Hydro lady is nowhere to be found. After asking a nearby soldier, he reveals that the Priestess have foreseen this scenario, and thus instructs the players to go to a spot a little further from the Shrine.
Once they arrive there, Paimon will mention that there’s a secret entrance nearby. To access the cave, simply turn the camera around from the purple tree. Inside, Sangonomiya Kokomi can be seen sleeping as she sits. As players approach the Priestess, Kokomi will state that she has been tired from all her leadership work. When that happens, she’d exile herself in this cave to regain her energy. After all, social interactions were never Kokomi’s forte. Her Excellency says that she will be ready for the Victory Feast, but rest is necessary for now.
Outside the hideout, players may find an Electro Seelie. Although it has no relation to the story, it’s highly advised to pursue it. This creature will take people on a long journey around the Island, but it’ll be worth it. In the end, the Seelie will grant one Luxurious Chest and two Precious Chests. These are two of the best chests in Genshin Impact.
At the Victory Feast, players have to ask around to see if anyone knows of the issue that’s bothering the soldiers. Eventually, they come across Kouzen. This soldier will demand a little spar before he spills what he knows.

It turns out that some people feel like peace should not be considered. Many of their comrades have died, and so peace talk will only be a waste of their sacrifice. To stop the negotiations from happening, some soldiers create a rumor that the Tenryou Commission is colliding with the Fatui.
This issue doesn’t stop the Divine Priestess from attending the peace talk, though. But soon enough, things go south and soldiers from both sides try to fight each other. Fortunately, their leader, Kujou Sara and Sangonomiya Kokomi stay calm and command the army to stand down. In the end, the peace talk goes smoothly without further problems.
Back home, Kokomi quickly handles the internal issue of her soldiers. However, as she attempts to be a just leader, she decides the people should be allowed to keep fighting instead of being forced to live a normal life. For this, she creates a secret group of soldiers who still have their warrior spirits.
To end the quest, meet Kokomi back at her hideout. There, she contemplates her role as a leader, the struggles, and her hope for the future.
