With the recent introduction of the new Sumeru region, players expect numerous boss domains to arrive in the foreseeable future. One of the most credible leakers in the Genshin Impact community named genshinBLANK has revealed the model of one of the upcoming boss domains that will feature a very popular character in the game, the sixth Fatui Harbinger known as Scaramouche.

This will apparently be a new weekly boss domain located in the main city of Sumeru. Considering that ongoing Version 3.1 beta leaks haven’t mentioned much about the domain, it’s highly unlikely that it will arrive in the next update. Previous leaks have revealed that players will finally have the option to fight the Harbinger in Genshin Impact update 3.2. The same leakers have been hinting that he could also join the playable roster sooner than expected. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that the main fighting arena shown in the left part of the picture is very reminiscent of Scaramouche’s iconic hat.
He wouldn’t be the first playable character to have his own boss domain as developer HoYoverse already featured Tartaglia and Raiden Shogun in two weekly boss fights. A couple of days ago, a post on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit apparently revealed Scaramouche’s boss model. Almost every boss domain in the game is divided between multiple phases and the model apparently represents Scaramouche during his second phase.
Scaramouche has become one of the most anticipated characters in the game since his first appearance in the quest “The Crisis Deepens” which was part of Act II of the game’s storyline. Popular leakers have been hinting that the version of Scaramouche that will join the playable roster will be much different from the one players met during their adventures through Teyvat. Even though he was previously rumored to be an Electro character, popular leakers like hxg_diluc have revealed that he will be a new Anemo user.
When it comes to his weapon type, Scaramouche will apparently use a Catalyst. However, even though the Catalyst is usually a ranged weapon, he will apparently prefer close combat similar to the popular Anemo detective, Shikanoin Heizou. Considering that the popular Dendro Archon Nahida will most likely become a playable character in update 3.2, players can expect Scaramouche to join the playable roster in Version 3.3 which should arrive around December 7.
Genshin Impact is available for mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Nintendo Switch version also in development.
