RELATED: Genshin Impact: All Inazuma Buried Chest Locations

From random texts to normal-looking vases, Inazuma will surprise those who intend to dig deep into every secret. Both lore-lovers and casual players will surely enjoy their time discovering these subtle secrets in Inazuma. Make sure not to miss these side quests while exploring the new area.

Updated November 20, 2021, by Nahda Nabiilah: Three new islands were released in Genshin Impact 2.1 and 2.2; Watatsumi, Seirai, and Tsurumi Island. Like the previous ones, these three are also filled with a lot of hidden side quests and achievements. However, while hunting the additions may seem exciting, players shouldn’t forget the secrets in the first three islands. Most of these missions reward Travelers with five Primogems, so it doesn’t hurt to collect them all. While five may seem little, it accumulates to a decent amount if players dedicate their time to grind. So for those who haven’t explored the Version 2.0 achievements, Here are some extra hidden tasks they might miss.

14 And I Would Walk 3000 More

This hidden quest will be available one real day after Players complete the Gazing Three Thousand Miles Away World Quest. To start, Travelers need to talk with Chouji near his house. The boy will say that he’ll travel to find a cure for his mother.

After that, find Chouji in two different spots in Inazuma; Tatarasuna and Narukami Island. In each location, he will be standing next to an Exquisite Chest and Precious Chest respectively. After meeting him near Inazuma City, players will obtain the And I Would Walk 3000 More hidden achievement.

13 Oowazamono

After completing the Dream of Sword Art World Quest, “Masanori” will ask the Traveler for a friendly spar. If players defeat “Masanori” in 30 seconds or less, they will obtain the Oowazamono hidden achievement. Keep in mind that after his HP is depleted, the Samurai will recover back to full HP. Therefore, “Masanori” needs to be defeated twice.

There are many easy methods to obtain this achievement. For example, players can fight “Masanori” in Co-op, which will grant the achievement to everyone in the party.

12 Paimon’s Lucky Day/Just My Luck

In the Grand Narukami Shrine on top of Mt. Yougou, there is a Shrine maiden behind a booth called Gendou Ringo. Players need to speak with her to get a fortune slip. If Travelers get a “Great Fortune” slip, the Paimon’s Lucky Day achievement will be obtained. On the other hand, if “Great Misfortune” is pulled, the Just My Luck achievement will be acquired.

These two achievements are fairly easy to obtain. The only downside is that players can only draw one slip daily. So Travelers need to go to the Narukami Shrine every day until they get the fortune they need.

11 Oh, The Humanity!

After completing the Fate of a Fighter World Quest, there’s a hidden continuation. To trigger it, players have to defeat enemies at four different spots in Nazuchi Beach. Each group consists of a Kairagi and some Nobushi. Unlike the rest of the enemies on the beach, these Vagrants won’t have a “dark aura” on them.

After killing the enemies at the designated spots, a new quest will appear in the player’s quest log. Talk to Inaba Kyuuzou and follow the rest of the quest to get the Oh, The Humanity! achievement.

10 Home Lies Over the Ocean

The side quest “Home Lies Over the Ocean” involves an Inazuman that does not reside in the region, but rather in Liyue Harbour. This woman, Atsuko, will ask Traveler to deliver a letter to her parents in Inazuma. Players need to talk to Atsuko in Liyue Harbour to trigger this quest.

After delivering the letter to Atsuko’s parents in Inazuma, the Traveler has to go back to Liyue. The quest will be finished after reporting to the Inazuma escapee.

9 A Hollow Soul

A Hollow Soul is quite a creepy journey. First, players must find Washizu near the Serpent’s Head, northwest of the skull. Washizu will tell the players to pray to the shrine three times. After each prayer, the shrine will show a “glowing orb” around it. Make sure there are 3 orbs (which means 3 prayers), then wait until the next day.

After doing this for 3 days, Washizu will attack the players, who will then have to defeat the samurai. Upon defeating Washizu, players can find his belongings, and they will obtain the “A Hollow Soul” achievement.

8 Iwakura Out

In their journey through Inazuma, players might have met the Iwakura Clan samurais. They’re usually guarding a locked chest that players can open upon defeating them. These enemies have a special HP bar on top of the screen and are all over Inazuma.

After defeating the samurais, players will have to face two Kairagis near Konda Village. Upon defeating them, players will obtain the “Iwakura Out” achievement, and two swords. Use these swords on a spot nearby that has grounded swords, and a Luxurious chest will spawn.

7 The Ritou Road

This World Quest can be triggered after finishing the “Ritou Escape Plan” Archon Quest. To start this quest, players must find a house on the south side of Ritou, then interact with the secret passageway behind it. This will trigger “The Ritou Road.”

The quest will involve Harrison, a member of the International Trade Association who got into some trouble with slimes. After completing all the tasks, players will obtain the “Hello…! Anyone in here…?” Achievement. This quest can be triggered from two different spots, but the ending and achievements will be the same.

6 Lost Text

On Yashiori Island, players can interact with “Lost Text.” This may seem useless, but there’s actually a secret behind it. The Lost Text appears to be connected to Washizu’s lore and the Higi Village. It’s another dark addition to the story, perfect for lore-lovers.

Finding four of these lost texts will allow players to open a Luxurious chest on the island southeast of Fort Mumei. If the chest doesn’t spawn, players can try circling the small island or relogging into the game.

5 They Shall Not Grow Old

There are a lot of battlegrounds in Inazuma, where players can find a lot of tombs. To pay respect to the dead, players can place a Dendrobium on some of these tombs.

On Yashiori Island, players can find six simple tombs to pay respect to. Upon placing a Dendrobium on each of them, they will earn the “They Shall Not Grow Old” achievement. This hidden achievement will grant five Primogems for the fans’ gacha fund. This achievement is reportedly bugged for some players, but the issue is already known by the Dev.

4 The Gourmet Supremos Series

Most players have come across this bunch of misfits on their first road away from Ritou. They’re travelers that call themselves The Gourmet Supremos. In their first quest, they will ask the Traveler to obtain a Sakura Bloom.

After finishing the first quest, “Gourmet Supremos, Assemble!”, there are five more quests that involve the Gourmet Supremos. The chain of quests needs to be done in order. In total, players will get 80 Primogems and 700 Adventure EXP. However, it might be worth noting that the last two quests do not yield Primogems.

3 Temari Game

Near Konda Village, a boy named Kid Kujirai will ask the Traveler to play with him. This game, “Temaria Game”, requires players to find the Temari ball.

Kid Kujirai’s playtime doesn’t end there, however. After playing with him the first time, players can find the young boy in 6 different places in Inazuma. In each place, Kid Kujirai will ask the Traveler to find the Temari three times. Afterward, a Precious chest will spawn, which means six Precious chests can be gained from this challenge.

2 A Doctor’s Odyssey

Players can meet Yasumoto in Higi Village, northwest of Yashiori Island’s Statue of the Seven. Talking to him will trigger an easy quest, “Treatment on the Island.” After doing this quest, another series of dark stories can be followed, also relating to Higi Village and Washizu. This time, players will follow the Traveling Doctor, Yasumoto.

Players can leave twelve Naku Weeds in the basket in front of Yasumoto’s house. For the next two days, players will find an Exquisite chest near the basket. But on the third day, the Traveler will notice that something is wrong. By using Elemental Sight, Traveler can look for Yasumoto, and will find Pharmacist’s Notebooks on the journey. After finding three Notebooks, players will get the achievement “A Doctor’s Odyssey.” Players can then teleport to the south of Jakotsu Mine, where they will find a basket of Naku Weeds and a Luxurious chest.

1 Second Blooming

The Second Blooming quest is time-gated. Players can unlock it after finishing the Tatara Tales: The Last Act, a series of quests that can be done daily for 7 days. It’s also gated by RNG since players have to obtain a Bag of Flower Seeds from Takashi’s chest. On the northern coast of Tatarasuna, Takashi will ask the Traveler for three Mysterious Conches in return for a random chest. This chest contains nothing most of the time, but sometimes players can hit the jackpot.

After obtaining the Bag of Flower Seeds, players need to find Hanayama Kaoru. She will be standing north of the Mikage Furnace, a little southwest from the Statue of the Seven. Giving her the Bag of Flower Seeds will grant players a chest that contains 20,000 Mora.

The next day, Hanayama will ask the Traveler to kill Electro Whopperflowers. Doing so will spawn another chest that contains 40,000 Mora. On the third day, Hanayama will request three Sweet Flowers. After handing her the Sweet Flowers, players will get the “Second Blooming” achievement.
