In version 3.3, people will meet three different world bosses on the final floor; Perpetual Mechanical Array (PMA), Golden Wolflord, and Jadeplume Terrorshroom. Spiral Abyss 3.3 Phase 2 Blessing

Every time an Anemo character triggers a Swirl reaction, the team’s CRIT DMG will be increased by 20%, up to three times.

This buff puts Anemo units at a huge advantage in this Spiral Abyss. For example, Genshin Impact characters like Kazuha or Sucrose can now increase their Team’s CRIT DMG by up to 60% while sharing their insane buffs. Of course, DPS characters like Xiao or Wanderer don’t even need Anemo Support to grant them that 60% CRIT DMG. The best characters to fully take advantage of that buff are Venti, Kazuha, Sucrose, Xiao, and Wanderer.

Spiral Abyss Floor 9

The Ley Line Disorder on the 9th floor encourages players to use the combination of Hydro/Dendro units that are able to continuously generate Dendro Cores. Additionally, the Ley Line Disorder doesn’t only buff Bloom DMG, it also increases the DMG of Hyperbloom and Burgeon, giving Pyro and Electro users a better role to play on this floor in Genshin Impact.

The best characters to use on Floor 9 are:

Nilou Dori Nahida Collei Hu Tao Dendro Traveler Kuki Shinobu Xiangling Yae Miko Kokomi Thoma Kazuha Sucrose Venti

RELATED: Genshin Impact: Mistakes Players Make When Using Nilou

Sample Team

First Half: Hu Tao + Xingqiu + Zhongli + Albedo Xiangling + Xingqiu + Bennett + Sucrose Second Half: Nilou + Nahida + Kokomi + Dendro Traveler Venti + Xiangling + Nahida + Ganyu

Chamber 1

First Half: Contains some of the smallest and weakest enemies that can be carried around with Anemo characters in Genshin Impact. They’re also squishy and players can defeat them quickly. Second Half: Just like the first Chamber, the second one has squishy enemies that players can get rid of quickly. These Eremites are not immune to any type of DMG, so any element should be good inside.

Chamber 2

First Half: Mitachurl in general can carry some hard-hitting attacks against low-level units. However, the Wooden Shieldwall Mitachurl is what players need to take care of first. Make sure to keep at least one Pyro character in the first half team to burn the shield away. Second Half: The best elements for the second half are Cryo and Dendro. Dendro is the best option to break Hydro shield, while Cryo is the second best for the job. Cryo can also handle the Hydro and Pyro Slimes easily, better than Dendro would.

Chamber 3

First Half: Fungus and Shroom opponents are easy to beat since their attack mechanics are mostly clunky. Pyro characters in Genshin Impact can end the first half quickly since all enemies are weak to its reactions. Second Half: These Eremites spawn next to each other, so characters like Kazuha or Sucrose are recommended to keep them controlled in one place. Against these three, players can maximize Bloom’s effectiveness since each Dendro Core will deal DMG to all three of them.

Spiral Abyss Floor 10

A whopping buff of 75% extra DMG is granted when Aggravate or Spread are triggered, which are one of the best Dendro reactions in Genshin Impact. This Ley Line Disorder motivates more Electro and Dendro units to play a role in finishing Floor 10 in this Spiral Abyss.

However, since there are Electro-immune or Electro-resistant enemies in every Chamber, it’s best to not use a selfish Electro DPS like Cyno. This limits players to either using Tighnari or Nahida, or simply ignoring the Leyline bonus and going for meta characters.

The best characters to use on Floor 10 are:

Tighnari Nahida Ganyu Hu Tao Ayaka Xiangling Venti Sucrose Kazuha Wanderer Xiao

Sample Team

First Half: Raiden Shogun + Xiangling + Xingqiu + Bennett Hu Tao + Xingqiu + Zhongli + Albedo Second Half: Ganyu + Venti + Mona + Shenhe Nilou + Nahida + Kokomi + Dendro Traveler

Chamber 1

First Half: Just like the previous floor, the first half of the first Chamber is filled with shrooms and Slimes. Most of the Genshin Impact characters can easily finish this half without issues. Leveling up characters to 80+ is recommended to be able to swiftly finish this floor, or else, players will struggle while their characters are underdeveloped. Second Half: Primordial Bathysmal Vishaps are vicious monsters that never stop attacking and jumping around. If players couldn’t attack them both at the same time, they can focus on one Vishap before fighting the other. It’s possible to freeze this enemy, which would make the battle far easier and safer.

First Half: Both Kairagi are brutal and unforgiving, especially if players took their time to defeat them. If players beat one of the Kairagi and didn’t finish the other, the living Kairagi will restore to full HP and become more powerful. Therefore, it’s crucial to bring both Kairagi to low HP and defeat both at the same time. Second Half: A lonely Lawachurl is dangerous enough to complicate things and delay the time needed to finish the second half. Adding the Electro Abyss mage will make things even harder. Both enemies are extremely offensive and won’t give players any room to breathe. It’s recommended to stay safe and protect all characters since they’re needed for the third Chamber. Use Dendro, Pyro, or Cryo characters in Genshin Impact to remove their shields.

Chamber 3

First Half: The Eremites might be hard to handle, but players should immediately go after the Hydrogunner and Pyroslinger before they implement their elemental shields. Once their shields are active, they require a specific element to take it off, which will further complicate the fight. Second Half: The Mirror Maiden alongside the two Electro Cicin Mages will create chaos all over the battlefield. Players should clear out the Mirror Maiden as fast as possible to stop them from triggering any Electro-charged reactions and eliminate her strong Crowd Control. After that, the two Cicin Mages should be easy. Strong crowd controllers like Venti will render them helpless inside his vortex, making the Anemo Archon an excellent unit for this battle.

Spiral Abyss Floor 11

Floor 11 is where the real challenge begins in Spiral Abyss. There are two important notes to keep in mind when building the Genshin Impact teams for this floor:

The first half is filled with enemies that are immune to an element. Players can use Anemo to Swirl them all together. It’s also a good idea to bring a Hydro character to handle the Pyro Lector in the second Chamber. Alternatively, Electro is also decent as it can handle all the elements at once. Chamber 3 second half is dominated by four flying Ruin Drakes. The team’s DPS should be carried by characters that have ranged hits in their kits like Xingqiu, Ganyu, and Wanderer. Other than that, brute force is all the floor requires.

The Ley Line Disorder enhances all Anemo DMG by 75%. This buff puts Anemo characters at a huge advantage, especially with this version of Spiral Abyss that rewards Swirls with up to 60% CRIT DMG increase to the entire team.

The best characters to use on Floor 11 are:

Xiao Wanderer Kazuha Venti Xingqiu Yelan Tartaglia Kokomi Ganyu Ayato Ayaka Zhongli Ningguang Xiangling

Sample Team

First Half: Venti + Xingqiu + Kokomi + Raiden Shogun Wanderer + Jean + Xingqiu + Yelan Xiao + Kokomi + Ayato + Xiangling Second Half: Ganyu + Mona + Diona + Shenhe Tighnari + Yae Miko + Zhongli + Raiden Shogun

Chamber 1

First Half: The first Chamber on Floor 11 has a different condition from all other Chambers in Spiral Abyss. Instead of racing against time, players will be defending a mechanism against multiple waves of enemies. The first half contains a fair amount of elemental beings like Slimes and Specters, which can be a problem if players are using non-Anemo users. Genshin Impact Xiao or Wanderer can easily deal with these Slimey waves and clear them out completely. Second Half: The Primal Construct can easily be brute forced, but it’ll be an issue when it enters the invisible state. Here, the machine will deploy 2 parts. Use any attack to destroy it and force the enemy to enter recovery mode. Then, hit the deployed Dendro parts with Electro to stun it. Alternatively, if players can locate the invisible Primal Construct, they can use the Quickened reaction to immediately stun it without destroying any parts and entering recovery mode. This makes Yae Miko a great unit to have as she can auto-target the invisible enemy.

Chamber 2

First Half: Finally, the Abyss Lector makes an appearance in the Spiral Abyss. The round starts with two Abyss Mages (Cryo and Pyro) spawning next to each other. After defeating them, the Abyss Lector and two Hydro Abyss Mages will appear and the real fight starts. This floor in general is made to benefit Anemo characters since any Anemo hit will result in Swirling enemies’ elements into each other, destroying their own shields. To swiftly defeat the Abyss Lector, use Genshin Impact characters like Xingqiu or Yelan who are perfect for applying Hydro for long periods. Second Half: Chamber 2, the second half is a bulky challenge against four Ruin Machines who will do a great job in covering the screen, not allowing anyone to know what’s going on. Since the second half team consists of ranged elemental applications and DMG, the Ruin Machines should not pose any threat.

Chamber 3

First Half: This challenge contains two waves of enemies. The first wave has 2 Fatui Pyroslinger, one Fatui Cryogunner, and a Mirror Maiden. While the second has a bunch of elemental Shrooms. Again, an Anemo DPS like Xiao would easily destroy those two groups in Genshin Impact. To finish the first half as fast as possible, players should prioritize killing the Fatui Cryogunner, then go for the Mirror Maiden to finish any form of CC. From there, the rest should be easy. Second Half: Ever since the start of this Floor, the entire team is prepared for this clash. The four Ruin Drakes will spawn flying out of melee reach, leaving players with hard choices. Use ranged DPS like Ganyu and Tighnari while relying on a shielder like Zhongli to ease the battle.

Spiral Abyss Floor 12

Spiral Abyss Floor 12 contains a boss fight in each Chamber. While the Genshin Impact Jadeplume and the Perpetual contain some serious HP and can take a lot of DMG, the Golden Wolflord is almost never touchable with melee units, add to that the Wolflord’s gameplay mechanics that force players include at least one Geo character in their team.

Without Ley Line Disorder, with enemies having a clear level and stats advantages, the only remaining active buff is this version of Spiral Abyss’ blessing.

However, since the enemies are not really vulnerable to Anemo, it may be a better idea to rely on top-tier DPS like Hu Tao and Ganyu instead.

The best characters to use on Floor 12 are:

Kazuha Bennett Xiangling Yelan Xingqiu Tighnari Raiden Shogun Hu Tao Ganyu Shenhe Nahida Cyno Ningguang Zhongli Arataki Itto

RELATED: Genshin Impact: Best Characters In Genius Invokation TCG

Sample Team

First Half: Hu Tao + Xingqiu + Albedo + Zhongli Cyno + Kazuha + Nahida + Kuki Shinobu Ganyu + Shenhe + Kokomi + Raiden Shogun Second Half: Arataki Itto + Gorou + Barbara + Zhongli Ningguang + Zhongli + Bennett + Xiangling

Chamber 1

First Half: The Perpetual Mechanical Array is a fierce heavy enemy in Genshin Impact. Players will immediately notice that their shots against this boss are reduced. Once the boss reaches a certain amount of HP, it’ll put the shield again and players must locate one of the machines that inherited the HP bar. Once destroyed, the Perpetual Mechanical Array will be destructible again. The best type of characters to choose from against this type of boss is the hard-hitting single-target units. It’s worth noting that players can’t beat this boss without it entering the invincible mode. Second Half: The second half starts against two Eremites and one Fatui Geochanter, but they’re not the problem. The problem starts when the Eremite Stone Enchanter makes his way out. Players must keep an eye on his summons and beware of its annoying attack. Defeating the summon is not necessary, but not a bad idea either.

Chamber 2

First Half: Same as the second half of the previous Chamber. After defeating the three Primal Constructs, players will face another Eremite that can summon a beast into the field. Second Half: The Golden Wolflord can be complicated if players didn’t end well in the previous half. Simply put, the boss consumes a great amount of passive timing. For example, the Wolflord starts the fight with DMG resistance, then enters an invincible state where players have to destroy three wolves’ heads with Geo DMG (preferably) to be able to DMG the Wolflord again. Because Geo will significantly reduce the battle time, it’s best to use Arataki Itto or Ningguang for this fight. Ningguang is especially excellent as she can also perform as a ranged main DPS in this battle.

Chamber 3

First Half: Jadeplume Terrorshroom never really caused terror anywhere. Yet, in this particular place and level, the Dendro beast is bulkier than ever and needs so much DMG to take it down. Players can use either Pyro or Electro to handle this enemy. Pyro will make it summon three smaller Shrooms, but at a cost of short vulnerability; Electro will make it go dangerously berserk, but it’ll be stunned after a while. Second Half: Every challenge on Floor 12 is more challenging than the one before it. After players are done with a relatively easy fight against a very bulky Jadeplume, now is the turn against loads of Rifthounds. To survive and defeat the Rifthounds, players must use a healer in the same team that needs a Geo character to help with the previous boss. In addition to the healer, players must also try to collect them using characters like Kazuha in Genshin Impact. The Rifthounds are vicious and shields won’t matter against them.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
