For example, players’ current daily activities are still the same as they were upon release. Nevertheless, frequently missing out on these daily tasks can have a huge impact in the future, so Travelers still do them anyway. Among the many tasks available, here are the top things that players need to do daily in Genshin Impact.
8 Do Daily Commissions
Obviously, the main thing Genshin Impact players need to do daily is the Daily Commissions. Each day, four different tasks will be available, each granting 10 Primogems upon completion. Then, if all four quests are finished, Travelers can speak to Katheryne to earn an extra 20 Primogems.
This is one of the few sustainable ways of farming Primogems in Genshin Impact. Moreover, some Daily Commissions also grant special achievements, so people should keep a close eye on those. Since the tasks are determined by RNG, missing an important commission can mean months of waiting for the next one.
7 Check Serenitea Pot
Serenitea Pot is the housing realm given by Madame Ping for the Travelers. Here, people who enjoy decorating can spend their time creating their dream house. However, those who aren’t into these things still need to check their Serenitea Pot from time to time too.

Realm Currency will slowly accumulate in the Serenitea Pot, and if not collected often, it’ll be full and no more Currency can be gained. This special Currency can be exchanged for some useful items like Transient Resin and Unctions for Genshin Impact Artifacts.
6 Refresh Expedition
An expedition actually takes 20 hours at most, but most people check this feature once per day. Either way, collecting and resending characters on expeditions should be a part of players’ daily rituals. Since people can do this by talking to Katheryne, it’s best to do it after finishing the Daily Commissions. This way, they don’t have to speak to her twice.
Expedition in Genshin Impact can grant various items, with Ores being the most popular commodity to collect. Other than that, players can also slowly farm Mora and food through it.
5 Farm Ores And Go To The Blacksmith
First, players should go to the Blacksmith and ask for Ore Vein’s location. These Veins often contain more Crystal Chunk, so for those with limited play time, this can be their minimum effort. Blacksmiths in different regions will hint at different spots in their respective areas, so it’s worth visiting all the available Blacksmiths.

Next, players should turn their Ores into Enhancement Ores. The Blacksmith is limited to processing 300,000 weapons EXP daily, so if players delay this task, they may find themselves stuck for days to forge their Ores later.
4 Spend Their Resin
With merely 160 Original Resin cap, players are basically forced to spend it daily. Luckily, thanks to the Condensed Resin feature in Genshin Impact, people that don’t have much time can now save their Resin to spend later on. However, as Condensed Resin is limited to five at a time, players have to spend them eventually.
Since Resin is the most crucial currency Genshin Impact players can have, it’s highly recommended that they keep an eye on how many they have to avoid hitting the limit. After all, this item is the key to 90% of the player’s growth.
3 Login To HoYoLAB
HoYoLAB is the official forum for all HoYoverse games. It’s equipped with many tools for each of its games, and Genshin Impact is no exception. However, what players need to do in HoYoLAB is not browse its tools or its forum, but rather open the daily login.
Each month, players can get 60 Primogems for logging in for three weeks to the official forum. This may not be much, but it still means 60 Primogems less to an Intertwined Fate.
2 Farm Random Events
Random Event in Genshin Impact is something that occurs in the open world as players explore Teyvat. However, while it’s called a “Random Event”, it’s actually not random at all. People can actually get these quests on purpose by visiting its trigger area.
Some Random Events grant more rewards than some others, so those are the ones players should be farming. At most, Travelers can get rewards for 10 Random Events daily. This translates to:
100-150 Companionship EXP 10,000-20,000 Mora 0-20 Fine Enhancement Ores 0-20 Mystic Enhancement Ores
1 Finish Battle Pass Tasks
Battle Pass grants a decent amount of rewards even if players choose to not unlock its premium version. However, to complete it, people need to slowly farm its EXP. Every week, the Battle Pass is capped at 10,000 EXP (10 levels), so it needs five weeks to complete.
Therefore, since players won’t be able to speed run it later, it’s important that they keep an eye on their Battle Pass progress. Note that “This BP Period” tasks do not count to the 10,000 EXP cap, so players shouldn’t worry about wasting EXP from it.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
