Considering Sumeru is released with the new Dendro Elemental Reaction in Genshin Impact, it’s likely a blessing that she’s designed to perform as a Dendro enabler, allowing players to experiment with the new Elemental Reaction. However, considering her similarities with Dendro Traveler, people may want to learn the following things before pulling for Collei in Genshin Impact.

Is It Worth Pulling For Collei In Genshin Impact?

If players love playing with Electro characters but aren’t planning to get Tighnari, then, yes, Collei in Genshin Impact is worth pulling for. Dendro will greatly enhance the potential of Electro units, so Collei’s presence along with Dendro Travelers should be most welcomed.

Collei Is A Support Or Sub-DPS

Collei is not suitable as the main DPS, instead, people best use her as a support or, at most, sub-DPS. When equipped with supportive artifacts, Collei can be a great addition to a Dendro Genshin Impact team comp.

Collei’s Constellations Are Negligible

Usually, a 4-star Genshin Impact character would suffer without their Constellations. Luckily, Collei doesn’t have this issue. She’s fully functional even at C0, so players don’t need to try and get her Constellations to use her.

However, for those who wish to get the most value of Collei’s Constellation in Genshin Impact, then players can aim for either her second or fourth Constellation.

Collei Is Somewhat Similar To Dendro Traveler

There are a few key differences between Collei and Dendro MC, but their role in the team is pretty much the same. Here are the differences and similarities between the two:

Similarities

Both characters shouldn’t be used as the main DPS. Their Skill is a simple “tap” ability. Their Burst grants an AoE of Dendro DMG.

Differences

Collei’s Skill has a lower multiplier and longer cooldown, but if her Skill hits an enemy twice, then it has similar DPS with the protagonist. If Dendro Traveler’s Skill is used to trigger Quicken, then Collei easily deals the higher DPS, as her first Skill hit will trigger Quicken, and the second triggers Spread. Collei’s Burst has a smaller AoE but faster Dendro hits. Each of her attacks also has a large AoE. Meanwhile, Dendro Traveler has a larger AoE but has a single-target hitbox when dealing damage. Dendro Traveler’s Elemental Burst is affected by Pyro, Hydro, or Electro in various ways, while Collei’s doesn’t react with any Element. Collei’s Constellations mostly enhance her DPS and increase her Dendro application, while Dendro MC’s Constellations mostly buff the team.

Collei’s Strengths And Weaknesses

Although she’s sufficient as a Dendro support in Genshin Impact, Collei still has some strengths and weaknesses, like:

Collei’s Strengths

Great Dendro application. Straightforward to use. Great supportive potential.

Collei’s Weaknesses

Can’t be used as the main DPS.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
