Artifacts are an essential mechanic for character building in Genshin Impact, and players will often spend days farming Artifacts from Domains in search of a specific set. The Wanderer’s Troupe set is geared towards buffing Elemental Mastery on bow or catalyst users in order to get the most damage out of Elemental Reactions. It’s best used on Lisa, Klee, Sucrose, Mona, or Amber, but could also work well on characters like Fischl, Diona, or Barbara depending on their purpose in team composition. Unfortunately, Wanderer’s Troupe is a rare set that will likely only come from weekly Genshin Impact bosses.

It’s important to confront weekly Genshin Impact bosses on a regular basis to reap their rare rewards. In addition to many Artifact sets, they can also drop important character Ascension materials and prototype weapons, which are essential for free-to-play players. Wanderer’s Troupe has a chance to drop from any weekly boss: Andrius, Dvalin, and Childe.
Andrius can be fought weekly after completing Act 1 of Razor’s story quest, The Meaning of Lupical. Then, he can be found in Wolvendom in Mondstadt. After completing Act 3 of the Prologue, players can confront Stormterror, or Dvalin, on a weekly basis at Stormterror’s Lair in Mondstadt. Childe, on the other hand, comes much later in the story and can only be fought weekly after completing Act 3 of Chapter 1, the Liyue storyline. Upon completion of any of these bosses, it costs 60 Resin to pull rewards from the Ley Line Blossoms, and bosses reset Monday at 4 AM, local server time.
The Wanderer’s Troupe Artifact set can also be dropped by any normal bosses: any Hypostasis, either Regisvine, and the Oceanid. They can also drop the Gladiator’s Finale set in addition to any sets specific to those bosses.
There’s some debate in the Genshin Impact community as to whether or not Wanderer’s Troupe can be dropped from a Domain. Technically, this is correct because Enter the Golden House, where Childe resides, and Stormterror’s Lair are both Trounce Domains. These operate differently than normal Abyssal Domains. While Domains of Blessing do drop Artifacts, they cannot drop Wanderer’s Troupe and this set can only be obtained by defeating elite or weekly bosses.
Though Wanderer’s Troupe is meant for bow and catalyst-wielding characters, many players find use by pairing its 2-piece set with other 2-piece sets on characters like Xiangling or Fischl, who can excel by utilizing their Elemental Reactions.
Genshin Impact is available on mobile devices, PC, and PS4 with a Switch version in development.
