What is Naku Weed Used For?
Naku Weed is currently only used in one quest in Genshin Impact. It’s not currently needed for any cooking recipes or ascension materials for any of the current characters. However, since there are new characters from Inazuma coming to Genshin Impact named Baal, Kokomi, and Sara, they may need this Inazuma-specific plant for themselves.

The only current quest that needs Naku Weed is an NPC at Fort Fujitou named Yasumoto. He asks players for 12 of these plants. After this quest is completed once, players can leave 12 more Naku at his home daily to earn an Exquisite Chest. It is unknown how many times this is repeatable, but players have completed it a total of three times at least. This is an easy way to grab some free Primogems every day until the quest no longer works.
Where to Find Naku Weed
There are several locations that players can find these special weeds, but they are concentrated around three main Genshin Impact locations:
The first location is north of the Jakotsu Mine, the second is northeast of Tatarasuna and near the Mikage Furnace, and the third is in a wide circle around the Grand Narukami Shrine. These areas are filled with Electro elemental enemies, so players should change their party composition accordingly. Naku Weeds respawn every two real-world days.
There is also a vendor who sells Naku Weed. In Inazuma City, Aoi sells five of these elusive plants for 1,000 Mora each.
What Does a Naku Weed Look Like?
The Naku Weed is a pink and purple plant with teardrop-shaped flowers and heart-shaped petals. They usually bloom around the glowing foliage around Inazuma.
Naku Weed Seeds
Players looking to plant some of these pretty plants around their Serenitea Pot also can do that. Naku Seeds can be purchased from the Realm Depot for five Realm Currency. Players will not be able to plant these until they have also purchased A Path of Value: Luxuriant Glebe item from the Realm Depot, which opens up the land around their home to be farmed. These Seeds are also a Quest Item earned by reaching Inazuma Reputation Level 3.
Genshin Impact is available for mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5.
