For those Genshin Impact players that are looking to farm pinecones as fast as possible, there is likely no better place than the suspension bridge that is situated just northwest of the “Q” in Qingce Village. Indeed, fans should be able to easily obtain approximately 10 pinecones from this location in Liyue, and that is more than what Liben requires. Players can find a map below that highlights the precise position of this bridge, and a nearby teleport waypoint makes reaching it a breeze.

Alternatively, fans that prefer to collect their pinecones from Mondstadt can certainly do so, and there are a couple of good areas to check. One of those areas is along the coast that is north of Dadaupa Gorge, as there are pinecone-producing fir trees leading all the way to Cape Oath in the east. The other area that is worth a visit is the Stormbearer Mountains, and players that are hunting for pinecones should search just northwest of Starfell Lake.
To note, while participation in the Marvelous Merchant event may be the primary reason that fans want to collect pinecones, there are indeed other uses for the material. More specifically, players can combine pinecones with other ingredients in order to create various dishes in Genshin Impact. Pinecones are used in the cooking of Mondstadat Hash Browns, for example, and players can unlock the recipe for this dish by clearing the Scorching Fire and Raging Lightning trial at the Temple of the Wolf.
They are also used to prepare Sauteed Matsutake, which temporarily increases the ATK of all party members when it is consumed. Fans can purchase the recipe for this meal directly from Sara at the Good Hunter shop in the City of Mondstadat, and it costs just 5,000 Mora. That said, players will need to reach Adventure Rank 35 in Genshin Impact before they can buy the recipe, though that should not prove to be extremely difficult to do.
Genshin Impact is available now for mobile devices, PC, and PlayStation 4, with a forthcoming release for PlayStation 5 and Switch.
