Currently, the primary means of obtaining a large quantity of Mora are via farming the blossoms of wealth and respawning chests across the game’s regions. Unfortunately, these methods are also limited by the amount of resin a player currently possesses or the cooldown of the chest respawns.

While there may not be any definitive get-rich-quick methods in Genshin Impact, there is one chest in the game containing 200k Mora that is overlooked by many players. To obtain the chest players are not required to complete any prerequisite quests and do not have to reach any AR rank- making it viable for all players.
Players will find the chest location by fast traveling to the waypoint nearest the jewel icon in Liyue Harbor. From the waypoint, players must head south down the main street before reaching Mingxing Jewelry (the jewel icon on the map).
Next to Mingxing Jewelry players will notice a red staircase. Head up the staircase and proceed up the second red staircase after reaching the second floor.
From the third floor, cross the overpass to the buildings on the other side of the street. Once on the other side, head down the red staircase to reach a balcony filled with various NPCs.
Next to the balcony is a red staircase that players must head up. Once players have reached the top of the staircase, cross the overpass once again to reach the door to Northland Bank. Players familiar with the Childe/Tartaglia story quests will recognize this location as one of the primary bases of operation for the Fatui.
Once inside the bank, head towards the teller. To the right of the teller, players will notice another wooden staircase that they must climb. Follow the narrow path at the top of the stairs to reach the balcony containing the 200k Mora chest.
Unfortunately, unlike the numerous respawning chests that populate the world, the Northland Bank chest can only be claimed once. As a result, players should make sure not to spend any of the Mora obtained frivolously. Whether or not obtaining this chest constitutes committing a bank robbery is entirely up to the player’s discretion.
Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, and PS4, and PS5 with a Switch version in development.
