To start the quest, players must first travel to Liyue Harbor and find Freki and Geri next to the Adventurer’s Guild. After speaking with Freki, she will explain to the player how they are currently visiting Liyue to try out the food available during the Lantern Rite Festival and would like to try releasing their own lantern.

Unfortunately, Freki does not know how to make a lantern and asks the player if they can provide her with one. If the player does not have a Xiao Lantern in their possession, they must craft one with Lantern Fiber, Wick Material, and Plaustrite Shard.

After the player has constructed a Xiao lantern, speak with Freki again and give her the lantern. Freki and Geri will then write a wish on their lantern, before tasking the player with another request.

Freki will explain to the player how in Mondstadt they have a similar tradition of telling the dandelions what was on their minds before scattering their seeds in the wind. Freki will then ask the player if they could bring them a dandelion seed.

If the player does not have any dandelion seeds in their inventory, they can be easily obtained directly outside of Mondstadt. With the dandelion seeds obtained, head back to Freki and submit them to start the final part of the quest.

Freki and Geri will wish on the dandelion seeds before asking the player to scatter them from a high vantage point. When the player accepts this request, several glowing markers will appear on rooftops nearby.

While the player can attempt to scatter the dandelion seeds on the nearby rooftops, there is only one correct location that will complete the quest. The player must climb the large tower of the Adventurers Guild building directly across from Freki and Geri’s location.

Players may experience some difficulty when attempting to reach the top of the Adventurers Guild building, as it is not particularly easy to climb. A good method is to use the various pillars on the building to reach higher ground.

When the player reaches the top of the building, scatter the dandelion seeds before returning to Freki and Geri. After speaking with Freki one last time, the world quest will be completed and players will be rewarded with 30 primogems.
